Having floated the 11/9 alert on September 2 of this year HERE, I was stunned to see the news report that Al Quaeda was looking to have a repeat on 11/9/2015.

I was led to 11/9 by another date, October 19, 2009, appearing in a contemporary fictional work that I'd seen.   The exact spelling of that title of that fictional work appears in WD Gann's "The Tunnel Thru the Air" some 26 times.  The last and middle names (each word contains several letters) of the author of that fictional work appear in TTTTA comparably numerous times.  And the first name, a very unique four-letter name which I'd not seen spelled as such before, appears as a telestic wording on page 330.  Let me restate that.  The title of the fictional work appears prominently in TTTTA as does the first, middle and last name of the author of that work.

Of course, October 19, 2009 is a fictional date but consider its unusual properties that may link it to 11/9/2015...or 11/9/2016; from the September 2 essay:

"All of his future happiness was blasted in a moment."

Now consider the nature of the relation of October 19, 2016 to previous market events in 1929 and 1987; again from the September 2 essay:

One last consideration; the 2000 'Tech Wreck' crash began well in advance of 9/11/2001.  The above timing would provide the same chronology of the 'epicenter' of the crash and would be more similar if the top has already occurred (the Nasdaq market top preceding the 2001 crash was 3/24/2000 as I recall).

I've wasted your time in reprising the September 2 essay only because it seemed uncanny that terrorists are reportedly, unfortunately, thinking much the same.  If this timeline has merit, and there isn't a bit of scientific evidence of which I am aware in my study of Mr. Gann's apparent understanding of advanced concepts of relativity and spacetime, I would favor 2016 as the year of occurrence.  Again, not from science but from circumstances or perceived 'clues' left by Mr. Gann.

And to that end, it is offered for consideration, not proclamation.

WD Gann's "The Tunnel Thru the Air" is a map of time (MOT).  I'd long thought it so but there were too many otherwise interesting threads of research to follow this tedious and, apparently, less lofty thought.  I was wrong.  Pages 76 and 77 of TTTTA:

Page 77, the age at which Mr. Gann passed, but his predicting his final life span was the subject of a previous essay.

Follow the math.  I have counted, via Excel, the number of lines with a line space between paragraphs, between each page and from sub and page headings, this book dozens of times.  The counts were becoming very close with a recent count at 15,300 lines.  At that juncture I realized that counting upward from the last date in TTTTA got me to August 30, 1976, a seemingly irrelevant date for all I then knew.  So, I doubled the lines to get me to August 30, 2016…very contemporary.  And then I noticed the line on which September 11, 2001 also defined the number of deaths (with and without 19 terrorists included).  Well, it was 1 off but I found that error that fixed both counts of 9/11 deaths….my error.

Still, I'm at 15,300 lines, 40 short of exactly 42 years.  Well, there are 40 chapters in TTTTA when including the meaningful Foreword.  Adding 1 line per chapter gives me 15,340 lines which comports with exactly 42 years at one day per line.  And when I recheck the September 11, 2001 date versus the number of deaths.  The line number added to chapter number still gives me the 2,996 total deaths figure.  The 9/11 proof still works with the extra 40 lines.

At this point, you can visualize 15,340 on the left side of a spreadsheet that counts down (descending) from August 30, 1848 at 2 days per line to August 30, 1932 (the last date in TTTTA).  And on the right side you have the same number of lines counting up (ascending) from August 30, 1932 to August 30, 2016 (well, actually July 31, 2016 but let's keep it simple).  A column on the left of a descending 84 years at 2 days per line and a column on the right of an ascending 84 years….we now have 168 years.  We have redoubled the time period again.  First from 15,340 lines or 42 years, to 15,340 lines at 2 days per line or 84 year and then redoubling again from one column of the ascending timeline to an ascending and descending timelines.  [Remember the doubling and redoubling.]

A spreadsheet of 30,680 lines is impossible reproduce on this blog.  So let's shrink it by "appointing" a line for a year (365.242 days).  We then get a "timeline" that is 84 years the descends from the first line in the book to the 84th line which is the end of the book.  And the end of the book is a known date.  Mr. Gann assigned the year, 1932.  Because the end is known, the first year would be 1932 minus 84 or 1848 which would appear at the top of the left descending column.  And the last date on the right side ascending timeline is 2016.  Here's the MOT in years:

Okay, its tough to make out.  Top of the left column, 1848, top of right, 2016, at the bottom 1932, all highlighted in red.  But what are the other highlighted years in blue and yellow?

This is the MOT of mankind.  The blue and yellow cells are the repetition of events in time for mankind; not for New York City, not for the NYSE, not for the US, not for Jim Ross….for mankind.  And what are the aspects that apply universally for all mankind?  War and inventions.  And what were recurrent themes of TTTTA?  War and inventions.  

The most graphic example of history repeating is the blue highlighted cells, 1919 and 1945.  In 1919, the 'war to end all wars' (which wasn't) formally ended with the Treaty of Versailles.  In 1945, there were 2 ceremonies that ended the two fronts of World War II; the first for Germany, the second for Japan.  The blue highlighted years represent an ending.

The yellow cells of 1863 and 2001 are troubling, very troubling.  They representing battles at the middle of respective wars.  1863 represented a mid point in the Civil War with Gettysburg heralded as the bloodiest battle and the turning point.  2001 is, similarly, a turning point in the war with Islam; a war that, unbeknownst to the US, began with the 1993 attack on the WTC and Osama Bin Laden's declaration soon thereafter.

The troubling aspect of the yellow 2001 is that, as we can see, the time cycle of 168 years "folds" and on each side we have repeating events involving the same character and institutions (page 80 of TTTTA).  In the 2000 year cycle (probably 2016 more specifically), Islam was nearing its peak of global domination in the early 1000s.  It stretched from the Pacific, covered Asia and extended to the Atlantic including a great portion of Spain.  Jerusalem was controlled by Islam.  It was not until 1099 or so when the first Crusades took back Jerusalem and broke Islamic domination.  Crusades that had as their champions, men like Sir Robert Gordon, Baron of Nova Scotia, Robert de Bruce whose heart, upon his death, was carried by Sir James Douglas to Jerusalem for its interment there…., the many knights of the St Claire or Sinclair family who also so happened to have built the Rosslyn Chapel.  Men who likely met at the great Castle of Kennelworth at some time during their lives to plan the Crusades.  If you have read TTTTA, you will recognize these names.

Islam that was ascending from, arguably, early 1000AD until 1099AD.  A 1000 years later, we find in the very first year ending the new 1000 year period, we find 2001 marking a new ascendency of Islam.  Ask yourself, is Islam stronger or weaker today than 2001?  So, yes, I find the mid points of the Civil War in 1863 and the Islamic War very troubling.

Back to the Map of Time, the map of mankind's time.  I have identified more than a dozen clear examples of repetition and have spent only last night and this morning doing so.  You can identify milestones in invention in addition to milestones in war…after all, there are many more of the former.

There is so much to do in the thread of research.  Later yesterday, very late, I found some encouragement and some assistance to confirm I was on the correct path on page 45.  It is the poem with the quizzical "Tid Bits" as the author.  Tid Bits, a tiny morsel of tasty food or important information.  I won't reproduce the poem but will provide two excerpts:

What did we do in the early stages of developing the MOT?  We doubled.  Then we doubled again.

What have I done for the past several days?  I've doubled my work and redoubled my effort.  Once doubled out of shear interest in the subject matter….and now redoubled out of the personal need to understand and near mathematically prove what I believe this great man of math, science and foresight was and is trying to tell us about our future.  Our age, the age of the 266th Pope.

I fear 2016 will be the worst for the world that I have seen in my life span (I'm a baby boomer). The end of not only the component 168-year cycle, but of a 2016 year cycle, to put a finer point on Mr. Gann's simplified 2000-year cycle (page 80 again).  Again, there are 12 cycle of 168 years within the 2016 year cycle as I've developed.  And 2016 is the end of a grand cycle.  The counterpart of 2016 on the MOT is 1848.  Can anyone find encouragement in the European history of that year?

[Next up, I'll show how a third aspect of Tid Bits "reconciles" with the MOT.  Hint; page 45 and the 45 degree angle.  What could be a greater hallmark of WD Gann than the 45 degree angle?  Some as great perhaps, but greater?]

The last essay ended with the quizzical poem, Tid Bits appearing on a notable page 45.  I derived the interpretation that, in retrospect, I'd created the Map of Time (MOT) by doubling and re doubling the number of lines in "The Tunnel Thru the Air" (15340 lines) to arrive at a vertical chart that is 84 years tall.  I also considered my increasing work ethic in respect of Mr. Gann's work; it has clearly doubled and re doubled.  But I did not explain the most interesting 'coincidence' that the discussion occurs on page 45.

So we have the MOT with one red date at the bottom, 1932, and two red dates at the top, 1848 on the left top and 2016 on the right top.  The left is a column descending by 1 year per cell to the year 1932 and the right ascends at 1 year per cell.  I will not present the MOT in full here because I will change it to a more familiar format later in this post…and that takes room.  For now, HERE's a link to a picture.

I'm now going to change the two-column MOT to an isosceles triangle and then two right isosceles triangles.  How so.  Well, we have two columns that are 84 cells (years) high originating at a single point, 1932.  Let me ask, how many years separate the two years in red at the top of those two columns.  Why its 2016 - 1848 or, surprise, surprise, 168 years, the 12th period of the theorized 2016 year cycle.

Do you get my drift?  An isosceles triangle with the top leg at 168 years and which is 84 years tall.  Let's adapt that spreadsheet to a still terribly difficult size to illustrate:

We have at the top left 1848, top right 2016 defining 168 years.  At the bottom we have a single point, 1932.  Connect the 3 points and, intuitively you know, it is an isosceles triangle.  I'll forego the trig and move forward to what geometer's are always want to do; bisect a line to form right triangles.  I'll draw a vertical line from the midpoint of the 1848 to 2016 top most line to the bottom point of the MOT, namely, 1932.

The violet vertical line now bisects the isosceles triangle creating two perfectly mirrored triangles.  Upon pondering what we have, you'll recognize each of the triangles has two sides that are equal at 84 years and each of the triangles has one 90 degree angle.

Again, intuitively you know, you have two right triangles whose two lesser angles are 45 degrees.

Additionally, you can visualize a single rectangle that is 168 X 84 years.  You can visualize two component squares that are 84 X 84 years.

And then you might notice something a bit more profound.  Start with visualizing the descending left timeline of the MOT from 1848 to 1932 arrayed on the downward sloping 45 degree angle and the 1932 to 2016 ascending years arrayed on the upward sloping 45 degree angle.  Ask yourself what the interval is between the points where the paired event years of 1919 and 1945 (end points of WWI and WWII) fall.  And the interval between where the paired event years of 1863 and 2001 (mid points of the Civil War and the proposed Islamic War).  In the former the gross interval is 26 years and the latter is 138 years.  The half intervals are 13 years and 69 years.

The intervals between repeating events are not static, they're not Phi related at first glance, they're not readily observable as a square or multiple.  In contrast, the intervals between repeating events respond to the 45 degree angle.

If you try to apply the MOT to the stock market, to your family tree, to the USA or Russia to find comparable dates, you won't be happy.  It is the related to the whole of mankind.  Only events happening to the whole of mankind will find repetition.  That's putting the end before the beginning.

The most dramatic of the events that I have backtested on the MOT is the endings of WWI and WWII.  They work perfectly to the year.  More than that, if you wish to establish the "correct beginning" to the MOT for mankind for daily purposes, I suspect those repeating events in history will backward identify the correct day which is the "correct beginning." It is not the last day in TTTTA as best I currently reckon.  That would be far to easy.  Mr. Gann won't give us his most prized secrets.  When I backward computed it in the wee hours of this morning based on the end of WWI and WWII I was stunned.  Not the first time have I been stunned in this endeavor.  But I have pondered that date only briefly as yet so I'll hold on to it a bit longer.

The beginning, what did Mr. Gann say about the "right beginning" in TTTTA?  Pg 78:

What's the right beginning?  Its a reference point for BOTH time and space.  Planning a trip from Virginia Beach to Brooklyn, among other things, I need to know from where I start and what time I start.  Knowing my average speed, number of stops, number of miles between the points will not help me one bit in predicting my arrival if I do not know BOTH when I start and from where I start.  And I need to know BOTH simultaneously.  That seems pretty straightforward.  But time and space are not independent.  Likewise, we would think we need to know BOTH if we had the ability to predict the future.  Wouldn't you think?

Special relativity and the Minkowski space…. an idealized zone in spacetime where the laws of general relativity do not apply.  A place where acceleration or gravitational do not influence spacetime.  A "gravity well" where we are moving at a constant speed and where gravitation does not affect time.  Kinda like where we live…on earth, but not entirely.

Generally, we do not accelerate and we are not differentially affected by gravity.  A person standing on the equator is prevented from being affected by gravity by the ground that is below him and is traveling at just over a constant 1000 MPH hour according to the Earth's rotation.  No acceleration.  A person standing in Central Park at the 40th parallel is traveling at just under a constant 900 MPH by virtue of the smaller circumference of the earth at that parallel.  No acceleration, no differential gravitational influence.

Well, except that the moon and sun do exert relatively minor but observable gravitational and acceleration influence.  Tides rise and fall by virtue of the moons gravity.  Relative to the sun, our speed in greater and lesser at the aphelion or perihelion of the earth about the sun….speed is changing during the solar year.  Acceleration and deceleration.  We are not in a Minkowsky space, but largely we are.  And the divergences, we might consider them separately.  That's another essay.

Within those contexts what is important about the beginning for mankind?  Well, again the correct location and the correct time.  Except that the correct location on earth is not important relative to the subject of mankind.  Mankind is all over the earth.  Which location of any single person do you use to measure the beginning?  The cycle of mankind is independent of a location of beginning when measuring spacetime.  Only time is important.  Might you be prone to say "time is the most important thing?" Wow, sounds really really familiar.

Now what if you say you wish to measure the MOT of the NYSE located at exactly at 11 Wall Street? That address doesn't change as the earth turns on its axis.  Only time will be important.  And that's yet another subject.

So, the MOT as I've currently defined it for only mankind and we can backtest its accuracy by matching events that appear on its previously defined descending and ascending 45 degree angles.  Events ignoring the location of the event;  only time has importance.  That can be backtested to the MOT.  Only vastly universal events like world wars and inventions having pervasive impact might find related historical repetition on the MOT.  That's what I've found to date.

I would submit the MOT is the general curvature of history and "curve for the future" for mankind from which Mr. Gann applied his understanding of how persons and institutions vary with the MOT depending on their individual vibrations.  Perhaps Mr. Gann had read Luo Clement's "The Ancient Science of Numbers," published in 1908.  Hmmm, didn't Mr. Gann make a great discovery in 1908?

Consider again the methodology:

Past history and the "curve for the future" is the independent variable; the MOT of mankind.  The rate of vibration is the multiplier unique to person and institutions other than mankind that, when applied to the "curve," produces a different but correlated result.  The rate of vibration which might be identified for each person or institution based on the vibration apparent in their name and nativity; the specialty of Luo Clement and his "The Ancient Science of Numbers."

Perhaps Mr. Gann wrote "The Ancient Science of Numbers" himself.  I think I've written essays on that….

You will find the immediately preceding 3 posts dated September 17, 2015 and this one will be dated September 20, 2015.  I came upon the mathematics of this post September 18, 2015, a date which I realize is most important.  Keep that date in mind these next two essays.  In this essay I give background information necessary for persons without such.

WD Gann's "Map of Time" or MOT is encoded in "The Tunnel Thru the Air" by counting every line of the book after adding a line for every page (a page break), a line for every paragraph, a line between every subheading (including the page header), salutation or sign off of a letter, and 1 extra line for each of the 40 chapter (a chapter break, the Foreword counts as a chapter).  There are 15,340 lines in TTTTA and that line count is verified by its ability to predict the World Trade Center attack of 2001.  Take my word for it for now.  In due course you may prove it to yourself.

15340 lines is the number of days in 42 years (365.242X42).  According to the clues on page 45 (45 is the degree of two angles in the isosceles right triange), we double and redouble which brings us to 168 years.  168 years is one of 15 units of a Biblical week or 2520 years (or 168X15=2520).  Counted from the beginning at 0A.D. (actually there isn't a 0A.D.) 12 units of 168 is 2016.

We have the last date of TTTTA as the year 1932.  Conceptually, appoint one year for every 365.242 lines of the 15,340 lines doubled and you count downward (descending) on a spreadsheet from the number 1848 and you will arrive at 1932; 84 years.  Now count from the bottom of the sheet upward 1 years for every 15,340 years doubled and you will arrive at 2016 (1932+84).

Now inspect your spreadsheet.  You will see the years 1919 (Treaty of Versailles ending WWI) and 1945 (two cermonies for the surrencder of Germany and then Japan ending WWII) are aligned on the same row.  You will also see 1863 and 2001 aligned...1863 representing a mid point and turning point in the Civil war, 2001 marking, arguably, the a mid point and unfavorable turning point in the war declared by Osama Bin Laden some years hence.  The 'vertical' MOT:

This is a good, but not final, representation of the MOT.  You will discover the bottom of the MOT is a single point, the year 1932, where the top is two points; 1848 and 2016.  1848 and 2016 are separated by 168 years.  So, we have a triangle with sides of of 168, 84 and 84 years:

No we don't.  Any two sides of a triangle MUST be greater than the third and 84+84= 168.  In time, we have a straight line; remember the WD Gann Memorial Triangle or GMT.  Set that aside for the moment.  

Of the above, the triangle is marked by the dates, 1848 at the top left, 2016 at the top right and 1932 at the bottom.  The yellow bar marks the year 1863 at the left and 2001 at the right and the blue bar marks 1919 on the left and 1945 on the right.  The actual years reside on the 45* angles and are arrayed in a descending fashion on the left 45 degree angle from 1848 to 1932 and are arrayed in an ascending fashion on the 45 degree angle from the 1932 to 2016.  For example, if I were to mark exactly where 1863 appears on this chart, it would be the intersection of the yellow highlight and the 45 degree angle.  One last note about the triangular MOT, it forms two 84X84 squares, somewhat reminiscent of Bradley Cowan's illustration of the the sqrt(5) diagonal of two 1X1 squares on page 51 of "Four-Dimensional Stock Market Structures and Cycles."

That's the background, now do the math yourself.  I'll lead your through it.  Triangle 1932, 1919, 1945.  What's the difference between 1919 and 1945?  26.  Now whats the difference between both 1919 and 1932 and the difference between 1945 and 1932?  13.  Again, we have an isosceles right triangle with sides of 26, 13 and 13, but it is a straight line not a triangle.  

Can you see how Mr. Gann inferred 2001 from the dates 1932, 1919, 1945 and 1863?  He knew the world events of 1919 and 1945 and inferred their mid point which is 1932 ((19+45) / 2 = 32).  He knew the world events of 1863...wait a minute, the Civil War was an American war.  Not really.  The whole of TTTTA underscores that the United States was the leader of the world.  So goes the US, so goes the world, even at that early date in the history of the US.  

From the mid point 1932 to 1863 we have 69 years on the left 45 degree angle.  1932 plus 69 years and we have 2001 on the right.  Mr. Gann knew that a world impacting event comparable to those that occurred in 1863 would occur in 2001.  Given 1919, 1945 and 1863, can you compute the logical 2001?  69, the great page 69 of TTTTA.  Page 69, Jonas' 3 plus 3 is 6 and 3 times 3 is 9; 69 to put a very fine point on it.

Now consider the intervals.  1932 to 2001 or to 1863 is 69 and 1932 to 1919 or to 1945 is 13.  And 69 plus 13 is 82.  We find on page 82 Mr. Gann telling us there will be remarkable events following the election of the 266th Pope....our age.  [Troubling, where are we at on the MOT right not, 2015?  We are one year short of 2016 with a corresponding year of 1849.  2016 minus 1842 is 164 which is 82 years from 1932 and 82 years from 1849.  Our year, right now, comports with a resonance of the 1919-1945 duality and the 1863-2001 duality.  Again page 82 of TTTTA, the "remarkable events" following the election of the 266th Pope.]

The correspondence of those dates and intervals with the methodology prove themselves, do they not?

The details of Mr. Gann's 6th Prophecy (see HERE, HERE and HERE) are far more elaborate than simply picking out the year as is accomplished above.  He gave us the 110 story Mammouth which was named "the Cedar," gave us the name "Ata" 15 times in the telestic encoding of TTTTA, gave us the number of successful terrorists (15 as 4 were on board the unsuccessful plane that was scuttled in Pennsylvania), the name of the predecessor airline, TWA, and the exact day to the minute from which Muhammad Ata departed Logan Airport.  Of those details, I do not know how he divined them.  But, he knew.

I have asserted Mr. Gann knew when he would die; 1955 at the age of 77 years.  Consider his own assertion on page 77 of TTTTA:

["...mathematical science, which is the only real science..."]

The problem in proving the year of Mr. Gann's is one of 'vibration.' The MOT, as I've offered, is the "curve of the future" for mankind.  It's "vibration" is, likely, different from that of a person.  Once the "correct beginning" is known based on critical events in a life and based on that person's "vibration," the result will be a correct prediction of mortality.  That's how he predicted his death.  Consider the dates of 1908, the year of the great discovery and 1927, the year in which TTTTA was dated and then consider Mr. Gann's first name is "WD" as opposed to William.  Using the MOT methodology those parameters will get you very close to calculating Mr. Gann's death age, but for a half year convention of sorts.  Not having the entirety of the answer, I'll defer for the moment.

We now have explanations of the number 69, 82 and 84 which are teased in the title of this essay.  Remaining is the number 83 and the date further teased in the opening paragraph, namely, September 18, 2015.  Next essay.

The WD Gann Map of Time (MOT) is explained in the immediately preceding post and is developed in more detail in three posts provisos thereto.  What's missing is how to "begin right" (page 78 of "The Tunnel Thru the Air):

If the MOT's method is to find the point (date) of inflection where on the left side we have events of the previous 84 years and use those events to predict future events, then we need to know what day that date of inflection of the 168 year period occurs.

Assuming that the greatest dates of events of the 168 year period were the end of WWI and WWII, then I calculate July 1, 1932 as follows:

No, its not the last date in TTTTA (August 30, 1932, the "Peace Conference of the World").  At least in my opinion.  Wouldn't that be a tad easy for a person having spent hundreds of hours, now, trying to unravel all this?  Nothing is easy.

And its not the 4th of July, the date of the final "Battle of Washington" as such a person, having read the book in minute detail to include encoded acrostic and telestic message.  No, it would have been much to easy.  Nothing is free.

In my opinion, the final date is mathematically derived as above; not subjectively, poetically derived.

Why mid year?  Well, I can only guess.  There wasn't a 0 A.D (Google "0 A.D" and read Wikipedia). so half of that year was removed to B.C. and half to A.D.  Hence, each 168 component of the 15 parts of the Biblical week (15 parts at 168 years per part 2520 years) begins and ends mid year.

As we might suspect from a study of the WD Memorial Triangle (GMT), the MOT forms an isosceles triangle and a straight line based on there 3 dates:

The above includes 3 excerpts out of my daily MOT spreadsheet (one line for every day between 1848 and 2016, 84 years of days in the left two columns and 84 years in the right two columns, "folded" at the "right beginning," July 1, 1932).  

The total span between WWII dates of 9/2/1945 and 5/7/1945 above is 118 lines (lines 4810 minus 4692).  And the span between the WWI date of 6/28/1919 and each of the two dates in WWII is 59 lines (4810 minus 4751 and 4751 minus 4692).  

If we were to try to create a triangle out of side lengths of 118, 59 and 59, it isn't a triangle….it is a straight line.  If you were to construct it out of the visual plot of the spreadsheet, you'd have an isosceles triangle that has a width of 118 and a height of 30681 (25930 + 4751) or very high.  One very small angle at point 6/28/1939 and two very large equal angles at points 9/2/1945 and 5/7/1945.

Recall the WD Gann Memorial Triangle has both space dimensions in terms of miles and time dimension in terms of years.  The former a right triangle and the latter a straight line.  Perhaps we have the demonstration that, absent a measure of space (miles, feet, inches) we have a chart of space that gives us a spacial orientation in 4 dimensions and a corresponding time straight line; a triangle that we can see on the chart (hmmm, like price on a stock chart...) and a line we can sense as forward time.   A triangle and a line.  How basic.

I was not expecting to find as the counterpart of 9/11/2001 on the MOT as anything other than battles of the Civil War, averaging to a date that is the historical "cause" of the former.  I'm not sure the Civil War in 1863 is irrelevant to 9/11, but only this morning it took assumed the 'shotgun' seat in this vehicle.

Like part 1, you can prove the circumstances of part 2 to be described in this essay and make your own decision.  You have available to you the July 1, 1932 "right beginning" of the MOT and the ascending, descending nature of the MOT.  In addition, one more "tid bit" of information.  Recall WD Gann's inclusion on page 80 of "The Tunnel Thru the Air" the citation of Hans Delbruck in the study of ancient wars:

I call your attention to the 1000-year cycle (which was separately and singularly described by WD Gann in TTTTA as the "great 1000-year cycle") and to "same political institutions" and the "likeness between battles."

Now to the MOT.  I've reconfigured the MOT with 30681 lines on the left descending section starting at the top with the day 7/1/1848 and ending with the day 7/1/1932 and then starting at the bottom with the day 7/1/1932 ascending 30681 lines and ending with 7/1/2016 at the top.  I then find 9/11/01 on the right scale and look across to the left and find 4/23/1863.

You can do this with "timeanddate.com." Subtract from 9/11/01 the 'right beginn(ing)' of 7/1/1932 and you get 25,274 days.  Subtract 25,274 days from 7/1/1932 and you get 4/20/1863.  That differs from my spreadsheet by 1 day because in the former calculation, 7/1/1932 is not part of the interval to 7/1/2016 where in the latter calculation it is.  It should not be part of either interval and thus the timeanddate.com calculation needs to be set back yet one more day to 4/21/1863.  Bottom line, 4/21/1863 is the MOT counterpart of 9/11/2001.

Armed with this clue and Hans Delbruck's insights I was fully expecting to find that dates of surprise attacks in the Civil War might be averaged to arrive at 4/21/1863.  In 1863 we have, as well, the New York Emancipation Proclamation Eraft Riots of New York which might be epicentered on 4/21/1863.  I have every expectation that those histories play a role as "causal" to the 9/11/2001, or at least, Mr. Gann's synthesis of 9/11, but I was only partly right.  [Being right is subjective so you should 'consider' for yourself.]

I found two 'causal' events in 1863; one related to the Civil War and one related to an aspect (not a sect) of Islam.  The former events is Union Col. Benjamin Grierson's Raid (April 17 to May 2, 1863) and the latter is the beginning of Baha u liah 12-day stay in the Garden of Garden of Ridvan, Baghdad.

Regarding Grierson's Raid, 1700 Union calvary troops traversed Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana drawing Confederate attention and resources and enabling Major General Ulysses Grant forces to cross the Mississippi just below Vicksburg.  Grierson's surprise raids, spanning the exact date of 4/21/1863, staged Grant's forces for campaigns that would ultimately lead to the bloodiest battles of the Civil War; Vicksburg, Chancellorsville and Gettysburg.  The latter is largely considered as the bloodiest battle and turning point of the Civil War.

Regarding Baha u liah's 12 days in the Garden of Ridvan which began on exactly 4/21/1863, we find in Wikipedia the following:

Both the tactics and strategies of the Civil War and the self ordination of an Islamic Prophet as the one who God shall make manifest are beyond this CPA's understanding of Generally Accepted Account Principles.  Its hard for me to go down either road without exposing greater ignorance than to which I wish to confess.  

But with that apology, I believe you'll find Hans Delbruck's same institutions and methods present in 1863 recurring in the 9/11/01 attacks.  Surprise attacks and the rise of Islam.

Ultimately, we will want to tie all of this to the final days of 168 year period, those being July 1, 1848 and July 1, 2016.  Remember the name of Maj Gen Ulysses Grant, Robert E. Lee, 'Stonewall' Jackson among others, who also participated earlier in the 1846-48 Mexican American War that ended on February 2, 1848 and later were major participants in the Civil War.  And regards Islam and Baha u liah, he attended at the 22 day conference of Badasht which ultimately in 1848 devolved into violence, the Baha's imprisonment and his execution in 1850.

The same participants, the same methods.  1863 mirrored in the events of 2001 and even further tied to the events of 1848.  You are likely better equipped to make these comparisons than I but I am satisfied.  In this essay I am simply providing the causal historic events that are reflected in present events.  1863 is simply another of the proofs you can parse in far greater detail if you've the time and interest.

I intend to provide two more "proofs" of the validity of the MOT of mankind but from in the sphere of invention.  I've seen their sketchy outline and I 'know' they will be there, but I have yet to develop the details.  But I 'know' they are there.

One last thought previously addressed more than once.  The 1000-year cycle is the only cycle in TTTTA to which Mr. Gann conferred the adjective "great." 1000 years back from now or from 2016 or the century of 1000-1099, we find Islam dominated from the Pacific Coast of China much of the land to North Africa, to parts of Spain and notably including Jerusalem.  Before 9/11, how many Americans recognized the name, Osama Bin Laden, or recognized the threat of Islam?  In the century of 1000-1099 Islam had reached its apex of domination and was to be deposed by the Crusades in the last decade of that century.  Ask yourself now, is Islam at its apex now or is it on its ascension?  Decline in 1000-1099, ascension in 2000-2099?  Same theme, Islam and all those not Islam, but, perhaps, opposites; descent versus ascent.

The next essay will be two events of invention mirrored in the MOT.  I don't know which ones as yet or whether I will find them compelling.  I 'know' I will, but, until it is done, they will not be proven.

And as with the part 1 post and this part 2 post, do the research and prove WD Gann's Map of Time to yourself.  When the part 3 is complete there will be an essay to explain my understanding of the meaning of the number '83' that I believe Mr. Gann wants us to hear in this the age of the 266th Pope and my understanding of the date of September 18, 2015.

Page 82 of WD Gann's "The Tunnel Thru the Air" gives us St Malachy's (or Nostradamus if you prefer to believe) prophecy of the 266th Pope and predicts "remarkable events" upon his election.  As I've offered many times, Mr. Gann knew full well that the 266th Pope would not be elected for decades after the publication of TTTTA and decades after Mr. Gann's death.  Doesn't take a rocket scientist or a prophet to make that prediction in 1927 given that the number of the Pope in 1927 was number 259, Pope Pius XI.

Obviously, the message of that page and pages 83 and 84 are meant for the age of the 266th Pope which is widely recognized as Pope Francis (there are discrepancies in counts concerning anti Popes), elected in 2013.  Mr. Gann gives us St Malachy's description of the 266th Pope:

"Fides Intrepida, which means---"Unwavering Faith…." Would we expect the 266th Pope to embrace the words "unwavering faith?" Is Pope Francis winking at us when he gives us:

It would be hard to attend church for a significant number of Sunday's and not encounter the phrase and Psalms 3:5-6 as the subject of a sermon.  Yet, I found it oddly timely.

After all, 2014 is the 82nd year after the mid point the 168-year cycle or July 1, 1932.  Restated, we find the consensus 266th Pope uttering "Unwavering faith" in the 82nd year of the ascension from the mid point of the WD Gann Map of Time and find that same description on the 82nd page of TTTTA.  82 years between the notations.

Did Mr. Gann know and arrange his book to create this….synchronicity?

9/23/15 addendum.  How I forgot, I don't know.  The date September 29, 1922 was an intentional plant.  The "New York American" article of that date was, in reality, found in the Brookly Daily News on that date and discussed the St Malachy prophecy.  And, aside form providing us insight into the 'modus operandi' of Mr. Gann's elaborate encoding of TTTTA, what further insight is this link providing?  Count the pages of that daily paper on that date.  82 pages.  I made that count in the following essay found HERE.

There are nice numbers that seem to work together, dates and events that produce the 'deja vu' and there are clues thought to be so but none of which are real.  The numbers work now and won't work tomorrow.  The 'deja vu' never occurs again and the clues weren't such.  This blog's first contemplated the numbers that never worked and the feelings of repetition that didn't recur.  Of the clues, which are the real clues?  Which are the imagined?  I've identified 2016 as a focus of research and floated dates on the slimmest of whims.  Hopefully, I've identified them for what they are; nice dates.  This essay will be different as the clues, the laws of cause and effect and history repeating and the math will, hopefully, demonstrate.

In plain words WD Gann tells us in "The Tunnel Thru the Air"history repeats and that the greatest cycle of repetition is the 1000-year cycle.  I've checked.  He does not proclaim any other cycle in TTTTA with the wording "the great 1000-year cycle" (page 82).  Starting then with the subject of this post, 2016, what happened 1000 years ago?  The normal battles, coups, etc. but 2 items catch one's eye; the offensive against the Muslim city Sardina and an earthquake that damages the Dome of the Rock in Old Jerusalem.  [I will defer regarding the Muslim conflict but that Muslim conflict was raging 1000 years ago is context for other essays, some of which I've previously offered.]

An earthquake of Biblical significance in 1016.  Perhaps 1000 years later in 2016?

The first paragraph of Chapter 1 of TTTTA gives us not only the birth of the hero of TTTTA (Robert Gordon), but his mother's sad reflection on the April 18, 1906 San Francisco earthquake.  That  event, the 1906 earthquake, continues to be considered by many contemporary writings the worst natural disaster in the history of the United States; 7.8 on the Richter scale, but massive in terms of its immediate impact on San Francisco.

The first paragraph of TTTTA, a clue.  And a clue on the last monument to Mr. Gann's life, his gravestone.  It measures 30X30X8.  30X8 is 240 and 30X30X8 is 720.  Mr. Gann's was 77 when he passed and Sadie Gann was 53 adding to 130.  240 less 130 is 110 and the 1906 earthquake plus 110 years is 2016.  A clue?  A person's last monument would be a clue?  How could he know his and his wires lifespan in 1927 let alone weave it into a riddle and prophecy?  If you consider the possibility of his foresight for the purpose of foretelling the events of 2016, then its hard to deny his similar knowledge of his demise in advance.

Again, the plain words of Mr. Gann said in so many ways; history repeats.  The only limitation to one's prediction of the future is accurate information of events in the past.  From page 77 (which was the number of years in Mr. Gann's life):

A tool in finding repeating events has been developed in three posts found HERE, HERE, and HERE and is summarized HERE.  It is WD Gann's Map of Time (MOT) derived from the mathematic line structure of TTTTA.  In that lattermost linked essay we have the MOT on an annual basis.  The MOT has a left column and a right column that, when matched, imply events of the earlier year on the left will recur in the year appearing in the column in the right.  The distance between the years is not constant but expands from the bottom up.

Placing our two years of interest, namely 1906 and 2016, on the MOT we can find the correlated year which needs to be examined:

You can recreate the annual MOT.  The year 1932 is at the bottom and the left column descends from 1848 to the "correct beginning" which is 1932.  Then it ascends to 2016.  In full cycle, it is 168 years or 1 period out of 15 which comprise a Biblical week of 2520 years.  We are ending the 12th 168-year period of 15 periods of the Biblical week in 2016.

We find our two years, 1906 and 2016, highlighted in yellow on the MOT, above, and matching years in blue.  And in those years, 1848 and 1958, we find very large earthquakes; Marlborough and Lituya Bay.  Unlike the dates in the MOT of mankind, the dates are not the exact day.  There's a reason for that which I'll defer.  Nevertheless, the Lituya Bay earthquake is within 82 days of being exactly 58 years after the 1906 earthquake.  Here is the information and two extrapolations:

So which is it, January 8, or January 28, 2016?  I've mashed the numbers time and again.  The answer is in the math which and I have proved the 20-day difference to myself.  Knowing from where the difference arrives and knowing its proper disposition are entirely different matters.  I do not know, from the math, the resolution.  But I do know two possible clues to the resolution for the moment.

Recall from the 7th Prophecy (see HERE) the date when I realized how Mr. Gann would have left a clue to confirm that prophecy?  It was in January of 2015 while watching a second airing of "The Imitation Game" it dawned on me the nature of the confirmation.  And recall from the 6th Prophecy how the Battle of Washington was 69 years and 69 days from the attack on New York City (see HERE)?  Those are the two clues to resolving the date of the predicted San Francisco earthquake.

The January date in TTTTA was January 28, 1927 on page 75 of TTTTA  and exactly 88 years later, to the day, I discovered the confirmation of the 7th Prophecy.  You will find that the 'J' of January is the first letter of my name spelled in the acrostic word 'Jimi' (my high school nick name or without the 'i' to spell Jim) and then you will find January 28, 1927 as Chapter VII's subheading:

This clue leads me to January 28, 2016.  [There's far more to the 7th Prophecy but not relevant here.]

And the 6th Prophecy.  The 9/11 attack occurred not just 69 years after the Battle of Washington (page 383 of TTTTA).  But you had to add 69 days as well:

Similarly, the 10/16/1848 is 84 days different from October 16.  Take October 16 of any year and add 84 days to arrive at January 8 of the next year.  In our case, we take October 16, 2015 and add 84 days to arrive at January 8, 2016.

Did I say I would resolve the January 8 versus January 28 projected date for a major world earthquake disaster?  I believe I did.  From the clues I believe we are given, we cannot put a finer point on it than to say it will occur between January 8, 2016 and January 28, 2016.  

I indicated there may be a test that will resolve the two dates and one which I  believe may be the actual method that Mr. Gann may have used to determine very specific date and time predictions.  The math is not complete but, even if it were, it is beyond either/or the grasp of most readers or interest in the "details." So, I'll leave this essay with one last riddle that everyone can appreciate and to which there was allusion in the second paragraph; the Dome of the Rock.  Consider first:

On the left we have the Dome of the Rock damaged in the 1016 earthquake. On the right we have the rear dust jacket to the TTTTA.  I've always thought the gold dome on the rear dust jacket was out of place for TTTTA.  Then I realized, perhaps, we are looking at the Dome of the Rock imposed over the city.  But wouldn't we think the city to be, supposedly, New York, the site of the "Gigantic Battle of New York?"

So I again looked at the front dust jacket of TTTTA and I see planes crashing into the midst of the city but I do not see any planes crashing into the city on the rear dust jacket (there are two in the left margin of the rear jacket, but they are not crashing into the city).  On the front dust jacket there isn't a dome, there is a building that reminds me of the Empire State Building and the buildings stand erect.  In contrast, the rear dust jacket has the golden dome and no planes….. but, are the buildings on the right of the rear jacket tilting a bit right?  Is that steeple to the left of the dome on the rear jacket tilted right?  An earthquake?

Does the golden dome identify the city?  My preference would be San Francisco's dome at the Palace of Fine Arts, formerly owned by the Presidio which can be found HERE.  But that's me.  Lots of domes in lots of cities.

Is the dome on the rear jacket of TTTTA that which we find damaged by an earthquake 1000 years prior to 2016?  Is it San Francisco?  Will it be January 8, 2016 or January 28, 2016 or a day between?  Or not at all?

Probably not worth anyone's time in reading but very meaningful to me this morning.

Galileo Galilei (1564-1642).  An 'o' at the end of the first name with a value of 6 and an 'i' at the end of the last name with a value of 9 (Pythagorean as taught by "Luo Clement").  The wondrous page 69 of "The Tunnel Thru the Air." And the first three of his notable quotes will come up if you Google 'Galileo':

We cannot learn from anyone but from one who knows.  Of the hundreds or thousands of WD Gann experts, there is only one who truly knows what Mr. Gann taught and that is Mr. Gann.  We can only learn by studying his work directly.  And only guidance from others can be accepted…the learning comes from the personal work.  If we study Gurdjieff and his interchanges with PD Ospenksky, we find the latter, a philosopher in his own right, subjecting himself to the superior knowledge and guidance of the former.  As I studied golf, my heretofore lifelong passion, I studied the great "Bantam" Ben Hogan.  So the story goes, one golfer watching Mr. Hogan practice one day asked another, "Who is better golfer, Ben Hogan or Jack Nicklaus?" The other remarked, "Well, I've seen Jack Nicklaus watch Ben Hogan practice but I've never seen Ben watch Jack." And another 'so the story goes', so goes the question, "Where did Ben Hogan get the dynamics of his swing?" The responsive phraseology is "He dug it out of the dirt." He hit golf balls with a work effort like no other.  He took divots with each swing.  He dug his swing out of the dirt; the elemental.  He worked and worked and worked until he perfected and understood.

So goes the study of WD Gann.  It dawned on me last night that there are 37 written chapters (36 numbered chapters and the Foreword) in TTTTA just as there are 37 books in the Old Testament.  If you subdivide the pages before the Foreword and after 'The End', you might find 5 additional subdivisions.  At the beginning of the book 1) the title pages, 2) blank pages and 3) information and dedication and following 'The End' you have 4) blank pages and 5) the rear dust jacket.  37 written chapters and 5 additional subdivisions for a total of 42 divisions of the book.  And if one accepts that there are 15340 lines in TTTTA as computed in previous essays you have 42 years.  And if we 'double' and 'redouble' according to the rules of "Tid Bits" on page 45, we arrive at 168 years.

And 168 years is one unit of 15 that comprise the Biblical "Great Week" of 2520 years (derived from the duration of the "Rule of the Gentiles").  The "Great Week" of 2520 years that may refer to solar (365 days per year) or lunar (354 days per year) years when computing Biblical events according to Thomas Troward ("Biblical Prophecy….," 1914).  So might the year 2016, the subject of many recent essays, comport with any distantly important events?

If we were to deduct 2520 solar years from 2016 we arrive at 504 B.C. which does not appear to be all that important in ancient events.  Notable events in 504 B.C….. not so much.

But look at the lunar calculation of the Great Week of 2520:

One "Great Week" prior to 2016 we find the Jews deported from their land for the third time under Nebuchadnezzar.

Might 2016 find such a Biblical event repeated?

On good fortune.  Where I lost my life long passions of running and golf to impairing (but hardly debilitating, so don't feel sorry for me) osteoarthritis, I've found another teacher who has brought challenging and rewarding endeavors into my life.

This essay requires recollection of thoughts developed in many previous essays.

From previous essays we know the cumulative life span of WD and Sadie Gann was 110 years.  Obviously, that is one of the several numbers that might be derived from the Gann gravestone.

The very first paragraph of "The Tunnel Thru the Air" reflected on the loss of Robert's older brother in the San Francisco earthquake of 1906.  1906 + 110 = 2016.

From the WD Gann "Map of Time," ("MOT") so named, we find that the counterpart of an extreme New Zealand earthquake in 1848 is the year 2016.  Similarly, the counterpart of the 1906 on the MOT is the an extreme Alaskan earthquake that created a 'megatsunami.' Those four observations, were one to accept the methodology of the MOT as presently conceived in the related essay, would point to a period of between January 8, 2016 to January 28, 2016 for a repetition of the San Francisco earthquake.

From the "WD Gann Memorial Triangle," ("GMT") the seeming least important point of three was Mr. Gann's gravestone which is associated with the year of his passing, 1955.  Perhaps, however, the relevant date is 1776 where Green-Wood Cemetery was the site of one of the first skirmishes of the first organized battle of The Revolutionary War ("The Battle of Brooklyn").   In that case, we have two points of the GMT which are 110 years apart; the Statue of Liberty was completed and dedicated in 1886 and the Green-Wood site as the first battle of The Revolutionary War.

An interval of 110 would seem to be important but how might it relate to time and space?

More recollection is necessary to offer a possibility.  Robert Gordon circumnavigated the earth at the 40-41st parallel (he left New York and returned to New York which is at the mid 40th parallel) and, isn so doing, traveled about 33400 miles as the crow flies.  If, however, you parsed that "spherical hypotenuse" of distance between east/west miles and north/south miles, you find that he traveled 18259 miles east/west and 18465 miles north/south.

Moreover, the circumference of the earth at New York City's 40.7069N parallel is 18842 miles according to the Haversine formula (slightly in error due to the slight flattening at the poles of the earth).  But that number is even a bit suspect because, technically, Robert Gordon had completed a full circle of the globe when he arrived in Montreal, exactly 6 days into his trip.  Montreal is at 45.5000N and Robert, at that point, would have traveled slightly less than 18842 miles since it is north of New York.

The number of miles around the earth at the parallel Mr. Gann, I believe, was pointing out was certainly between 18259 and 18842.  I'll settle on 18500 as my best SWAG (accountants are good at SWAGs).

One of the lessons of "Robert Gordon's 7 days," IMO, is the balancing of east/west (a proxy for time) and north/south miles (a proxy for space or, perhaps, price) at 18500 miles.  Time and space balanced according to a common measurement...miles.  I think a common method of measuring both time and space is important, but that's me.  But I digress.

The last reflection on prior essays; the number 168.  The MOT, based upon the number of lines in TTTTA, is 168 years divided into mirroring 84 year intervals.  The number of hours in the week is 168. 168 is one of 15 divisions of a Biblical 'Great Week' of 2520 years.  Recall 2016 is the 12th unit of 168 from 1 A.D. (2016/168=12) and that 2016 is 2520 lunar periods from the third deportation of the Jews from Judah by Nebuchadnezzar.

So, wherefrom do we derive the subject of this essay, namely, the number 110?

18500 / 168 = 110.12

[Yes, I know there's something odd about dividing the miles in a day by the hours in a week but I'll dismiss that form the moment calling it simply "number"....for want of a better explanation.]

Why might an interval related to the 'nativity' of New York City (the 40.7069 parallel) be related to an event in San Francisco in 1906 having a different 'nativity?' The 1906 earthquake resulted in or, at least, contributed to a major market panic.  DJI topped at 75 in late January 1906 and nudged down with the April 4, 1906 earthquake.  After a recover to 70 in October 1906, the next 13 months saw the DJI drop to 41.  That's nearly one half from the top in 23 months.

Was the Nation's industry and economy so integrated with San Francisco in 1906 as it is today?  [As I  busily type on my MacBook Pro.]  I doubt it.

One last previously mentioned thought.  From page 84 of TTTTA, which is an uncanny half of the 168 number, we have Mr. Gann's encouragement...or lamentation:

Recall the previous weak effort to look back on history a Biblical "Great Week" to find the exile of the Jews from Judah (see HERE).  In that essay the third deportation of the Jews from Judah (583 BC) was correlated with the year 2016 by the lunar interpretation of the Great Week.  Being less than even an amateur Biblical historian, I've been reading about the period.  Of particular interest has been the current "stabbing infitada" in Jerusalem that began in about July 2015. 

About the Great Week of 2520 years, which might be interpreted as 2600 lunar years (2520 solar years X 365.242 days in the solar year / 354 days in the lunar year = 2600.0278 lunar years), would have been 586 BC.  Reading Wikipedia, we find that in 587 BC the Babylonia Exile occurred.  That article notes that historians agree that the Babylonia Exile occurred in the summer months of the year but two noted historians disagree whether it was 586 or 587 BC.  According to Jewishvirtuallibrary.org, 586BC is considered "the Exile" which is within a process that began in 597BC and ended in 538BC.  Here's a suggestion:

The summer of 2015 is one Great Week removed from  "the Exile." In the summer of 2015 we find the 'stabbing infitada' in Jerusalem.  Severe movement restrictions are being imposed on Muslims.  The same peoples, same institutions and, to an arguable extent, the same methods...one Great Week later.  Perhaps the greatest difference might be an exile of Palestinians rather than the Jews?

I was led to these thoughts from page 81 of "The Tunnel Thru the Air" which cites St John in Revelations:

But this would seem wrong.  The verse is Mathew 24:7, also found in Mark 13:8 and Luke 21:10.  I don't find the verse in Revelations although it has logical relation in the progression of the seals; false Christ's, wars, famine....  The events told in Mathew that may be placed in Revelations prophecy?  I missed that sermon but I expect its out there.  Did Mr. Gann misquote (I think not) or might the error have meaning?  Way beyond my Biblical pay grade though I have thoughts that even the ignorant cannot avoid having.  Did the verse say 'earthquakes.' I think there are essays for that.

Remember the many essays regarding the "remarkable events" that Mr. Gann tells us will occur following the election of the 266th Pope (page 82 of TTTTA).

And, by the way, Mathew 24:7 or 24X7 = 168 and 168 is one of 15 units within the Great Week (168 X 15 = 2520)...   And 168 is the number of years in WD Gann's "Map of Time" comprised of two mirroring 84 year periods of repetition of events.  And we find, as I've indicated more than once, twice.... on page 84:

Between the awakening in the early hours of the morning when, it is said, the spirit sojourns with the 'all', and falling back to sleep, I may have made my greatest discovery of WD Gann's identification of the structure of time.  "I" and "may have" have meaning.  For me, its what I perceive to be a discovery but for the many other much smarter people, I fully expect, already know.  And "may have" might mean I'm wrong.  But for whatever value, here it is.

As Mr. Holmes, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's fictional detective reprised by Mr. Gann in "The Tunnel Thru the Air", might do, I have furnished my 'attic' with a great number of disparate facts and theories.  Among them are:

*2520 years.  The "Great Week" best described by Thomas Troward in "Biblical Prophecy..." a book that is found in the secret reading list of Mr. Gann...those very few books published by Roger Brothers.  The "Great Week" is the Biblical 2520-year period of the "Rule of the Gentiles" over the Jewish nation.  Typically the period is thought to be comprised of 7 'days' comprised of the 360 years or 7 X 360 = 2520 (at least, that's what I thought, but maybe I'm not typical, just ignorant).

*168 years.  The WD Gann "Map of Time" or MOT which is defined by the 15,340 lines of TTTTA, which, a day for a line gives you 42 years.    And, given the doubling and re doubling "tid-bit" given us on page 45 of TTTTA, we have 42 X 2 X 2 = 168 years.  Within the MOT we have 84 years that descend for a beginning in 1848 and ascend from the bottom in 1932 to end in 2016.  The events of the left side of the earlier 84 years (1848 to 1932) repeat in the events of the more contemporary events on the right side 84 years of the MOT.  As an example, we find 1919 on the left side of the MOT aligned on the same line as 1945 on the right side of the MOT.  In 1919, the Treaty of Versailles ended WWI while on the right side the 1945 ceremonies of surrender with Germany and Japan ended WWII.  The ends of WWI and WWII can be (and I have in a previous essay) reconciled to the day.  In short, 168 years is the division of the Great Week into 15 components.

*168 hours.  Quite simply, there are 168 hours in a week which is 7 days of 24 yours or 7 days of 1440 minutes or 10080 minutes.

*4 minutes is the smallest cycle according to Mr. Gann because it represents 1 degree of rotation of the earth about its axis (page 78 of TTTTA).

*252 or 1/10th of the Great Week.  This is John Dee's "philosophers stone" number so named by Jim Egan.  Dee was the philosopher/alchemist of Queen Elizabeth I's court in the 1600s and a contemporary of Lord Francis Bacon.  In his personal correspondence with QE his secret name was "007." His name is found in the acrostic/telestic encoding of TTTTA some 45 times (interesting, 45), 44 of which are spelled "dee" and once spelled "007." If one were to count the number of non fictional proper nouns found in TTTTA, John Dee's name would be second only to that of God.  The number 252 was very important to Mr. Gann.

*2520 = 15 periods of 168 years.  As aforementioned, the Great Week may be considered comprised of 7 days of 360 years.  Or perhaps, given Mr. Gann's definition of the 168-year period defined in the MOT,  there are 15 periods of 168 years in the Great Week.  And those 15 periods define two mirrored 84-periods where events repeat and proven by the WWI and WWII example and other examples given in previous essays.

The discovery may be this; the repetition of time, 'no new thing under the sun,' may occur on a weekly level as it does on a Great Week level.  That is, but for the math not being the same.  There are 2520 years in a Great Week, but 168 hours in the smaller counterpart.  And 168 hrs X 60 min/hr or 10080 minutes in a small week.  The math doesn't work.

The key is the smallest cycle, the 4-minute cycle.  10080 minutes divided by 4 minutes results in 2520 units of the smallest cycle, the 4-minute cycle.     

We now have the Great Week on the same mathematic footing as the Small Week; 2520 divided into 15 parts comprised of 168 each.  As above, the Great Week, so below, the Small Week.  And the implication?  So as each 168 year subdivision of the Great Week demonstrates the repetition of events between 84 year subdivisions, then to we expect the 168 hour subdivision of the 2520 units of the Small Week to demonstrate repetition between its constituent 84 units.  Time in the first half of the week should repeat in the second half of the week.  At least, within the constraints of the dominant pattern of the greater cycle; context for another essay.

That's a lot to ponder, but so simple.  There must be a complication.  Yes there is.  The Great Week can be interpreted, according to Thomas Troward, in terms of 2520 solar or lunar years.  Again, I'll leave that for still another essay.

And how might we have an level of confidence that the above is a correct interpretation of the implications of Mr. Gann's pronouncement of the 4 minute cycle invading the territory of the Great Week?  Let's look to the acrostic/telestic encoding of TTTTA and, maybe, just maybe, Mr. Gann offers a tiny bit of encouragement:

Beginning in the last paragraph of page 78 and continuing on page 79 of TTTTA we have a hierarchy of cycles which includes the 4-minute cycle but excludes the Great Week.  Perhaps the acrostic word "tom" spelled by the first letter of the lines  3145, 3147 and 3149 is Mr. Gann's way of providing some comfort.  Or perhaps, paying attribution to the work of Thomas Troward.

In the last two months, the year 2016 has been of great and increasing interest to me... and concern.  Like my struggle through Robert Gordon's 7 days, the WD Gann Memorial Triangle, the WD Gann Gravestone Geometry and other series, I write before I think.  But its a process.  As Sherlock Holmes would clarify, we load our "attic" with furniture trying only to accumulate that which is relevant and discard that which is not.  Then, when presented with mystery, we search the attic for the facts and patterns that assist in formulating explanations or theories of that might solve the mystery.  And then we examine each theory to identify the further data that will eliminate or confirm.  This blog is a lot like Holmes process except that his ability to avoid the premature conclusion, though not perfect, was far more mature.  I tend to 'pop off' and, like John Watson, I like to weave the story that emerges in my imagination rather than doggedly follow the facts and patterns.  Its not the story...its the facts, process and truth that have merit Sherlock lectured Watson more than once.

I've written and re written this series of essays on the year 2016 in a single post, but that will not work.  The 2016 subject is an effort to predict many aspects of the nature of the year 2016.  Its basis must be derived from a serviceable understanding of the WD Gann Map of Time or "MOT," the Biblical cycle of the Great Week and the "great" 1000-year cycle.  And, as my understanding of these concepts has emerged over several posts, any reader would have a hard time understanding the connection between those "methods" and the derived meaning.  Even at this stage, I get things wrong...but hopefully, "less wrong" than before.

So, the first essay will provide a characterization of the year 2016, the reason why I am offering it and proof that, if I have identified and applied Mr. Gann's methods correctly, we can derive an accurate picture of the the year 2016 .  The second essay will capsulize the MOT, the Great Week, the "great" 1000-year cycle...tools that will be used to identify the repetitions of the past that are projected to repeat in 2016.  The third essay will apply the tools of the second essay to derive the elements of the character of the year 2016.  And the final essay will look back on the former 3, correct where needed, bring in new elements if they present along the way and conclude.

Why am I doing this?  First, we all know progress doesn't readily occur without failure.  If there's anything certain in my mind, I will be wrong.  But in being wrong, the few people who read this work and the fewer that will take it seriously may correct it, augment it and move the effort forward.  Secondly, remember Mr. Gann's encouragement "forewarned is forearmed." To the extent I am correct (I, myself, can't handicap that possibility though I'm persuaded), persons taking this series seriously may prepare for the future.  And third, its a responsibility set forth on page 83 of TTTTA:

Smarter people than I should pick up this mantel...but I'll do what I can.  To that end, I'll be the 'goat,' the 'delusional.' Only a couple lines later on that page Mr. Gann gives us that Bible verse that we all associate with the fire and brimstone minister who is preaching the Apocalypse, Mathew 16:3 (reprised in Luke 12:56):

I recall that, while publishing the "7th Manifest Prophecy," a person who I considered very intelligent and open-minded posting on a board "Jim, you've really lost it now." He did not provide any criticism of logic or inference or offer any dispute of facts.  Simply intellectual bigotry.  I expect most people will deny the possibility that Mr. Gann could make such predictions of the future.  But that same person's own work with Mr. Gann's TTTTA showed that he mathematically encoded the exact level of the market at two dates found in TTTTA.

Look at small sample of proof that Mr. Gann could predict (as opposed to "see") the future:

The Great Depression and World War II.  Pages 82 and 83 of TTTTA give us the difficulties of two time periods, 1926 to 1933 and 1940 to 1944.  The first of those periods will be characterized by famine, difficult business conditions and panic.  This was the first portion of the Great Depression.  Mr. Gann characterized the second period as another difficult one for the US; we know it was, generally, the earlier and most tenuous of the US' involvement in WWII.

The bottom of the 1929-1932 crash.  Market students have pointed out the similarities of war and the stock market.  The fictional war in TTTTA ends on July 4, 1932, 4 days short of the lowest closing low of the market in 1932.  Many, if not most people aware of this, consider it proof of foresight by some means (geometry, spiritual, ancient knowledge....).

The "6th Manifest Prophecy of WD Gann." The command post of Supreme Commander Robert Gordon is the 110-story Mammouth Building.  Can the misspelled word Mammouth and the number of stories of that building be missed in our post 9/11 world?  Unquestionably, its the World Trade Center?  The "6th Manifest Prophecy" identifies how Mr. Gann encoded into TTTTA, within 1 minute, when Muhammad Ata departed Logan Airport on Flight 11, within minutes of when the 2nd WTC tower fell, the number of terrorists on the 3 successful attacking flights (one unsuccessful flight was scuttled in Pennsylvania), the flight paths of the planes attacking the WTC, and many other aspects of 9/11.  [The '6th Manifest Prophecy' can be found HERE.]

The "7th Manifest Prophecy of WD Gann." Mr. Gann predicted the name of the person who would discover at least one level of encoding of TTTTA;  acrostic and telestic words.  Mr. Gann predicted the date, January 28, that that person would discover the final element of proof; his street address.  [Other personal information of that person was identified but is not included in the essays laying out the "7th Manifest Prophecy." Those essays are found HERE.]

[Let me interject a correction here.  A learned person once suggested to me that he could not accept that any person could provide a 'prophecy.' After many months of pondering that thought, I have to agree; prophecy is in the realm of divinity....divination.  Predicting is either or both in the realm of using tools, some or all of them Biblically based, to discern the future.  Prophecy is something beyond mortal ability.  Predicting is something derivative of what prophecy has already been prescribed.  I use the titles of 6th and 7th Prophecy of WD Gann now only because that is how the original essays are styled and recognized.]

The above is a very minor listing of the proof of Mr. Gann's ability.  Personally, I have concluded Mr. Gann derived his predictions from exactly where he said he did; from his application of math and science (physics).  Additionally, I believe he applied the coincident astrology (planets behave according to the same math and science as rules all of nature) for those who had that aptitude; we know Mr. Gann was a master astrologer.  He derived time cycles, angles and other heuristic measures to help those still less capable of greater insights; milk for babes, meat for stronger men I'm recently reminded by a distinguished contemporary Mason.

Mr. Gann needed the 'goat,' the one who would risk the delusional label to follow facts, associate patterns, propose stupid alternate theories and propose a synthesis.  I'm the goat with the obsessive need to examine the great mystery Mr. Gann buried in so many places.

Your duty, as Lord Francis Bacon would direct you, is to read to consider.  Not to read for the purpose of dispute or of compliance; but to 'consider.' I've already called myself the names that the bigoted would apply so that is out of the way.  Consider.  Find the facts, draw your own inferences and conclusions and use whatever is of value to yourself and family.

We start from the point that it is proven that Mr. Gann could predict the future with fine granularity.  If you cannot read the above offering of proof supplementing what you might already believe, then there's little reason to continue.  Mr. Gann could do this; he could predict.  Now, can I, or someone continuing where I am incapable for want of greater knowledge, re engineer some of his methods to make a prediction?

In time, we are currently IN the year 2016.  When you read the below prediction you'll see some of the events it predicts are already with us.  The year 2016, according to the number of lines in TTTTA and the MOT (to be re summarized from earlier essays in the 2016, 2 of 4 forthcoming), began on July 1, 2015 and will end on June 30, 2016.  Some of the prediction can be written off as nebulous, but some of it is very specific.  Read the prediction, sit on it and then read the essays that give the cyclic (as opposed to what I consider the "math and science") and other bases for it.  There will be some time between the parts of this series.

Facts, patterns and circumstances yet to be provided in forthcoming essays suggest: 

- a great natural disaster will occur in 2016, most likely in January, and, based on a perceived clue provided by Mr. Gann and the geologic character of the area, it will be located in or near San Francisco, 

- partly the result the predicted earthquake, the nation and world economy will suffer and the stock market will be severely affected,

- world political distress will continue to the extent that there is a clearly recognized definition of the war between Islam and the nations of infidels, that either the Jews or Muslims will be exiled from Old Jerusalem, and that redefinitions of the relationship of many central governments and their constituent peoples will be redefined, and

- United States political distress will continue to the extent the country will be propelled either towards its current direction of increased government or reversed towards greater personal freedom.

As was the character of the world 168 years (one of 15 periods of the Great Week) prior to 2016 in 1848,  "revolution" is not to be considered "remote."

Like many, I expect, I am very concerned.

A query from Dr. Watson and a response by Sherlock Holmes from "The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes,""Adventure XIII,""Silver Blaze:"

This is my therapy;  explain the mystery, my ongoing investigation and emerging theories to my few imaginary readers (for I'll never meet them or know the extent of their interest, if at all).

Many months ago I asserted in an essay still posted on this site (as are all the good ones and stupid ones) that the following is the greatest mystery posed by WD Gann in the Foreword of "The Tunnel Thru the Air:"

The mystery of death...the ability to read the future like an open book...  The detective will know when the mystery is solved for he will understand "why Jesus rose on the third day and rested on the seventh day." At that time, the seven days of Robert Gordon will no longer be a mystery.

We have the mystery.  Can any mystery be greater than understanding that which is after death or the means of reading the future like an open book?

We have the means; gather wisdom or actionable factual data in my estimation.  It would seem, first ,like Sherlock Holmes gathering relevant data and throwing out the irrelevant data for his "attic." And with that getting of the relevant and factual, you draw inference to arrive at getting understanding.  We do that with imagination, theories and testing.  Again from the "Silver Blaze:"

"Where is he then?" The 'he' is a missing champion race horse and Holmes determined they'd find the tracks of the horse by finding the line to the theorized destination of the horse; at some point, the tracks of the horse would intersect that line as it meanders the moors.  Not a solution to the greater mystery, a murder mystery, but one step closer to that end.  Imagine the end and act upon it.

What facts can be gathered from the paragraph that describes the "Greatest Mystery?" We've already identified the need for wisdom or actionable data, but, are there facts in that one paragraph?  Yes; the mystery of death is on the level of Jesus haven risen on the third day and rested on the seventh.  Its a literal fact that Jesus did not rest on the seventh day, God rested.  Jesus, God and the Spirit are one but not the same, a distention made often from the pulpit.  Quite literally, though, God worked and completed his work in six days and rested on the seventh day in Genesis, the first book of the Bible; not Jesus.  Mr. Gann knew that, so I can only surmise the inaccuracy is pointing to a fact.  Remember, rise on 3 and completion after the 6th.

Another inaccuracy that might be a clue pointing to a fact; the chronology of the rose on the third day rested on the seventh.  Its backwards from the Biblical account.  The account of the world's creation is presented in the first book of the Old Testament and Jesus rose in the New Testament.  Mr. Gann inverted the chronology.  Remember the "inversion."

Now to find more facts that, many which I have placed in my attic in previous months.  They are both expressed with the agony of turning them over in my mind and expressing them, imperfectly as they are, in the essays of this blog.  But, as Holmes tells Watson in the first insert of this essay, nothing clears up a case better than the expression of it to another.  Let's reprise what I'm considering as containing relevant facts with my imagination presently; Robert Gordon's 7 days and the WD Gann Memorial Triangle.

Robert Gordon's 7 days.  Robert Gordon circumnavigated the earth at about the 41st parallel (roughly, the latitude of New York City) in 6 days and rested on the 7th.  RG left NYC at 7am traveling east and making 22 stops to destroy buildings or return thanks to the allies of the US.  RG completed the circumnavigation just after sunrise on the 7th day when he anchored over Montreal.  Since Montreal is very slightly east of NYC, the circumnavigation was complete in exactly 6 days.  From there, he sailed south to NYC and arrived there just before noon on the 7th day.  From this information and the details of the 22 stops in the trip I derived several measurements.  Here's one of the latest iterations of the spreadsheet that computed and double checked these measurements:

First, a measurement of mileage at about the 41st parallel.  Robert Gordon traveled 34K miles, as the crow flies.  However, if you use the Haversine method to parse the mileage he traveled from east to west, then he traveled 18K miles.  Eureka, that's the circumference of the earth at that latitude!   And, if you compute the absolute value of the mileage traveled north/south measured from the latitude of NYC, he traveled 18K miles.  Interesting, east/west mileage equals north/south mileage.   Is that a clue?  Also interesting, imagining these three measurement as comprising a triangle, we have an isosceles triangle with two angles of 19 degrees and one of 142 degrees.  Hmmm, very appealing, an isosceles triangle.

Second, a measurement of mileage at the equator.  Of course, the crow flies distance remains the same at 33K miles and the east/west mileage remains the same....it is a matter of mathematics.  But the north/south absolute distance is greatly increased to 47K miles.  With great disappointment, I found sides of 18K, 33K and 47K give me a very awkward and meaningless triangle with angles of 33, 130 and 17.  And then I recalled a set of extraneous details on pages 400 and 401; a height of 60 miles and an anchoring height 100 feet.  Sixty and one hundred or 60 divided by 100 or 100 divided by 60.  Either .6000 or its inverse 1.6666.  Low and behold, when I reduced the 47K north/south miles by (1-.60) or divided by 1.6666, I could see a near right triangle having sides of 34, 18 and 29:

One last observation.  RG traveled east, the same direction as the rotation of the earth.  In the 6 days which elapsed in New York City, the earth turned on its axis 6 times.  RG, traveling in the same direction, saw the sun rise only 5 times.

There are many properties of Robert Gordon's 7 days worthy of their storage in my attic, but there are only a few I want to bring into my study for the moment.  But, for the moment, I want to remember 1) east/west mileage (time) equalling north/south mileage, 2) the circumference of the earth at the 41st parallel is roughly 18K miles, 3) the isosceles triangle morphing into a right triangle triangle, 4) the .6000 and 1.6666 which morphs the triangles, and 5) RG experienced one fewer days than  the six days person who did not leave New York City during the period of RG's trip.

The "WD Gann Memorial Triangle" (GMT).  On my second visit to Mr. Gann's grave I stood at his gravestone facing, as was his gravestone, lower Wall Street and realized the Statue of Liberty (SOL) was maybe 20 degrees left of my line of sight and the fictional Mammouth Building at 42nd and Broadway was maybe 45 degrees to my left.  I began to imagine a notable triangle comprised of the SOL, Times Square and Mr. Gann's grave.   What a far fetched idea!  And yet, when I reduced the points to a Google Earth representation, it was an imminently notable right triangle.

I say imminently notable because the side lengths (red lines above) display a unique relation.  The Phythagorean triangle is a 3-4-5 arithmetic progression of sides.  The Kepler triangle, the only triangle that can be used to 'square the circle,' is a geometric progression of its sides according to Phi. I find that the GMT is an exponential progression of its sides:

Interesting, if the Kepler triangle is the only triangle that squares the circle, a two dimensional operation, then would the GMT exponential triangle square the cube?  Just imagining, but that's where it all begins, does it not?

Aside from that, I see that number 1.6666 that was in RG's 7 days above.  I see the total miles, 16.08 miles is 4^2 or 2^4.  I see the sides of the triangle, denominated in years, is, in reality a straight line...not a triangle.  Any two sides of a triangle must exceed the third side...that's law.  The GMT has sides of 23, 46 and 69 and 23+46=69...hence, its not a triangle.  Among the 3 points of the GMT there are defined the three red lines which have associated with them BOTH a distance (space) element and a time element.

If the time dimensions do not constitute a triangle, they are a line.  They're a line that is formed of 3 subdivision of lengths 23, 46 and 69 totaling 138 years.  From the date of the dedication of the SOL in 1886, through the 1932 Mammouth Building and ending with Mr. Gann's death in 1955; 1955 minus 1886 = 138.  Its 23, 46, and 69.

But what kind of a line?  Its a circle with a circumference of 138 years.

But here is where it gets, exponentially comes to mind, more complicated.  When I first plotted the GMT in Google Earth I noticed a diamond (see HERE) of gravestones that pointed at Wall Street.  They also pointed at the World Trade Center.  The 110-story Mammouth Building....the 110-story WTC.  I imagined the WTC a 4th point.

But a 4th point in a triangle?  There are only 3 points in a triangle.  A 4th point would imply a four sided polygon?  And with the 4th point within the other three creating a concave four-sided polygon? I don't think so.

No.... with the 4th point of the WTC, I imagine we have a tetrahedron.  The fly in that ointment is that the four component triangles do not 'appear' to be equilaterals.  In space (distance) measurements, they are not according to the table above.  Appearances are deceiving.  If I were to measure the following 2 dimensional representation of a pyramid viewed from a slightly elevated position and along an edge, would I find the faces to be equilateral triangles?  Not a chance.

Similarly, the GMT with the WTC 4th point within the confines of the other 3 points is a tetrahedron viewed from the western edge and from, perhaps several miles above the earth (however far up the satellite might be).

Here, then, are the pieces of furniture related to the GMT I want to remove for further examination; 1) The side lengths of the GMT and the circumference of the circle that further identifies the GMT, 2)  the recognition of the exponential progression of the side lengths implying a three dimensional object instead of a two-dimensional triangle, 3) the implication of the GMT being a tetrahedron viewed from far above the GMT and not directly overhead, and 4) the reappearance of the 1.6666 seen in RG's 7 days but within the GMT. 

Formulation.  The theory, then, is this; the GMT is a tetrahedron that Mr. Gann identified (because it exists independent of his ability to contrive) and used to predict the apex thereof...both in time and space.  The apex is the WTC on 9/11/2001.   If Mr. Gann used the mathematics and physics (special relativity) of 4 dimensional space to make that very specific prediction (within 1 minute of Muhammad Ata departing Logan Airport on 9/11/2001, see HERE) then we should be able to detect mathematic relationships between the space (distances) implicit in the GMT and the time surrounding the formation of the GMT.  Time and space must be related for him to have reckoned from the three points in the GMT base triangle to the 4th point at the apex of the tetrahedron.

And where might the great mystery stand?  Quite prematurely and without the entirety of proof sought in the preceding paragraph I'll make an offer:

He began at the first point, moved to the second and upon reaching the third point, He ascended to the apex...the fourth point and apex of the tetrahedron.  

AND, as a minimum of five equal tetrahedra (the days of work RG experienced) can be configured to create a cube having 6 equal square faces (the days of work judged by a stationary person):

After the fifth day, judged as being the sixth, and upon completing five tetrahedra together comprising the six sides of the cube, He rested on the seventh.   

One last thought on the formulation.  As best I can recall, and I know there are people that have studied this, Mr. Gann referred to the fourth dimension only once in the Commodities Course:

How different might we approach measuring time and space in the markets if we were to substitute the the words "cube,""tetrahedron" and "sphere" for their 2 dimensional counterpart above?

Part 2 will attempt an examination of the relation of the components of the GMT formed by the 4th point in time and space with the expectation that time and space will vary inversely on an exponential basis.  Perhaps I will not be able to identify the exact mathematic relation by which they vary, but I have already seen the inverse relation between time and space and certain other relations (1.6666) do recur.

The math is not completed at this point and I may never succeed.  But I imagine I will.

This continuation of "The Greatest Mystery..." begins with clues and facts derived in the previous essay that concerned "Robert Gordon's 7 Days" and the "WD Gann Memorial Triangle." Pruning and refining the clues and facts derived in part 1 we have:

Equivalence-RG traveled 18K east to west and 18K north/south (absolute miles traveled, not net) or an equivalence and he did it in 6 solar days New York time but 5 solar days (because he traveled with the rotation of the earth and saw the sun rise only 5 times).  Notably, the earth's circumference is 18K miles at the latitude of RG's east/west path (roughly between NYC and Montreal or roughly the 41st parallel).  Mr. Gann contrived RG's 7 days to demonstrated an equivalence of east/west miles (time) and north/south miles (space).

Morphing space and time - Considering the "crow flies" mileage of RG's trip which is 34K miles, the trip might be considered as measuring an isosceles triangle with two sides of 18K and one of 34K.  But north/south miles (absolute) have been measured from approximately the 41st latitude which is not where we measure time.  We measure time at the equator and the 24901 mile circumference of the earth.  If we measured RG's north/south distance traveled from the equator, the distance would have been 47K miles, not 18K miles.  A triangle with sides of 18K, 34K and 47K miles is a near straight line and, well, meaningless.  But when you apply a factor I believe given by Mr. Gann, 1.666 to the 47K miles you get sides of 18K, 34K and 29K (47 / 1.666) miles.  And you have a Pythagorean right triangle in lieu of an isosceles triangle.  Mr. Gann's contrivance demonstrates meaning (the shape of the triangle) is altered by the reference of the measurement (41st parallel versus the equator) and an important factor.

An important factor, 1.666 - In my opinion, Mr. Gann gives us the factor on pages 400 and 401 of TTTTA in the number 60 and 100.  It is 100 / 60 = 1.666 or its inverse, .60.

Properties of the WD Gann Memorial Triangle - The GMT might be considered an example of how the above clues and concepts are used to prove out time and space.  The GMT gives us a set of simultaneous measurements of time and space, first in the 3 points of the triangle and then the added point of the World Trade Center.  Together, the measurements are:

Not only do we have simultaneous measurements of time and space, we have historic events associated with each of the 3 points; A - the dedication of the Statue of Liberty in 1886, B - the 1932 fictional battles and end of the Great War in TTTTA, C - the 1955 interment of WD Gann and d- the 9/11/01 WTC attack.

Time is circular, space is angular - The GMT's distance measurements present a right triangle having sides that are an exponential progression and time measurements cannot form a triangle but present a line that forms a circle intersecting the 3 greater points.

That's the setup of clues and facts.  Now, can we move a step closer in demonstrating time and space are woven in fabric of "number?" I believe we can take a step.

The "outer time circle" defined by the intervals of A to B, B to C and A to C is 138 years and those points define the "trine" divisions of the circle of 60, 120 and 240 degrees (a sum of 360 degrees).  The "inner time circle" defined by A to d, B to d and C to d define the pentagonal multiples of 36 degrees or 72, 108 and 180 degrees (360 degrees).  A table is worth a 1000 words:

      

And there it is....  the supposed outer circle formed by the intervals of 23, 46 and 69 form the trine of the circle; division according to 60 degrees. And the supposed inner circle formed by the intervals of the 3 primary points and the 4th WTC point form a circle divided by the pentagonal element of 36 degrees.  

But there's one more dramatic element.  The supposed inner circle of 138 years in circumference grew to 230 years in the supposed inner circle.  That's a "growth" of 1.666, the same number that divided the isosceles triangle of RG's 7 days and the alternate measurement from the equator.  The number derived from the 60 and 100 on pages 400 and 401.

It gets better. The above is time changing by constant 1.666.  What about space (distance)?

The relation perimeter of the triangles is the inverse of the constant that defines the changing of the time periods between the outer and inner circles.

Our small step is this.  The GMT indicates time and space are inversions according to a number.  In the GMT, the number is 1.666 or its inverse which is .600.  And equivalence.  Where in RGs 7 days there was an equivalence of time and distance, in the GMT time and space invert by the same constant.  Does this suggest that, similar to the law of the conservation of matter and energy, there is a law of the conservation of time and space?  I think so.

Is all of the above coincidence or an ingenious contrivance of the genius of WD Gann?  I believe Mr. Gann had his hand in it but the final issue of this series will address that question.  For now, the expert in randomness will have a hard time dismissing it all according his laws of nothingness.

This ends the thought for now but there will be a part 3.  It will not continue the theme of number in the Greatest Mystery in TTTTA.  It will address a possible metaphysical property for the triumph over 'death' cannot be wholly addressed by 'number.' Perhaps I can yet layer more coincidence on the champions of natural law of the random.

The Greatest Mystery in TTTTA, one would think, is about finding the number that creates meaning and structure out of chaos.  After all, WD Gann was a mathematician, astrology and market genius...I would add a physicist but that's another essay.  Re-reading the next to the last paragraph of the Foreword  of TTTTA its hard to limit the inquiry to NUMBER.  Its as at least as well, the challenge of overcoming DEATH.  I bite my cheek where I read a person, absentmindedly declaring the Bible the greatest book of math and science.  It is that for sure.  But its far more.  For the many too weak to take meat, it must hold for them the milk.  There's a message(s) to be had by parable; a message(s) that the vast majority of readers of the Bible sense or seek.   But is there a metaphysical message that NUMBER might support?

So, let's pile on the Randomites more coincidence for them to "explain." Two parts to this essay addressing 1.666 and its inversion, .60, and a visit with Socrates.  Let's take the lesser. .60 first.

.60- In the previous essay the progression of time in the WD Gann Memorial Triangle was shown to be an expansion of 1.666 from the 3 pointed triangle of the base GMT to the apex of the World Trade Center Tetrahedron at 9/11/2001.  Over the same period and spanning the same three physical points of historical interest, space shrank by the inverse of 1.666 or 1/1.666 or .60.

Mr. Gann often separated NUMBER from magnitude.  Recall, 360 degrees, days years.  In some charts he denominated the y axis of his graphs a penny while in others ten cents in others a dollar.  Adopting this flexibility, let's think in terms of 60 rather than the decimal, .60.

On June 21, 2015 at exactly 1pm EDST I was standing at the gravestone of WD Gann in Green-Wood Cemetery (GWC) paying gratitude for the months of enjoyable research that "The Tunnel Thru the Air" had afforded me.  In those months, now months that I cannot spend in my lifelong sports of golf and running, I had uncovered the acrostic/telestic encoding of TTTTA, identified Mr. Gann's 6th and 6th prophecies, read (scanned) most of the books on what I call the secret reading list of WD Gann, and read (scanned) other great philosophers.  After reading Marie's letter (aka Mathew 9:29) I walked the 10 minute or so back to main gate of GWC and departed for my daughter's home, where we were visiting for the week, in Newport, RI.  I was about a half hour behind as that evening I had planned on taking the four of us (my daughter, her husband and my wife) to dinner at The Nordic Lodge in Charlestown RI.

A half hour became an hour in escaping from Brooklyn.  I arrived at Newport at about 4:20 EDST.  I know pretty exactly because to be able to eat at The Nordic on Father's Day weekend you need to be present and "staged" before 6pm.  We couldn't make it in time.  Still, we had a great dinner on the roof of their apartment building as I had cooked several slabs of ribs two days before in preparation for the trip (son-in-law loves ribs).  The roof overlooks the beautiful yacht basin and harbor.

It was on the return trip I realized that Mr. Gann had passed on June 18, 1955 which I later confirmed happened to be the summer solstice of that year.  I already knew that June 21, 2015 was this year's summer solstice but hadn't gone back to see if the day he passed was the summer solstice.  It was.

And, on the return trip, I realized that when I left Mr. Gann's grave to return to the main gate, it was 1pm EDST...  Actually, because it was daylight savings time, I was at the grave at 12 noon of the longest day of sunlight of the year.  [You can read essays on the trip on this blog for a contemporaneous account (see HERE).]  I thought the serendipity ended with that realization.  I was wrong.

I found nearly every number associated with the dimensions of Mr. Gann's stone to be associated with some circumstance of prediction that he made and came true or "I think" that he made and which are yet to occur.  I couldn't figure out the interval from 1955 to 2015 or 60 years.

How absent minded of me.  A friend had asked me to measure the upper die of the gravestone and I found it to be 30" by 30" by 8." 30 plus 30 =60.  That would seem more a detail to button up the mystery of 60 years.  That's not the big one.

60 years is 100 times the inverse of 1.666...  And we know Mr. Gann disrespected that pesky decimal.

1.666 - We find in part 2 of 3 (incredible, 2/3=666) of this series the progression of time in the "WD Gann Memorial Triangle" occurred according to the number 1.666; a number given as a clue, in my opinion, by Mr. Gann on pages 400 and 401.

What a number, 1.666.  Divide it in two parts by the decimal and we have 1 and 666.  1, the number of all things.  All divisions of 1 re summarize to produce 1.  Ancients have been known to refer to it as the "All." We find the "almighty." You get the drift.

And 666, the number of man according to Revelation 13:18.

We can find "coincidence" of 1 in every number as any number multiplied or divided by itself is 1.  But its not so easy with 666.  Let's see if we can find coincidence, or perhaps, evidence of metaphysical coincidence with the far more unique number, 666.

Let start out by acknowledging some weakness.  To a great extent, it can be argued the GMT is contrived by Mr. Gann.  I can understand why the Statue of Liberty is related to the year 1886.  I can somewhat understand why point B is related to 1955 as that was the year of Mr. Gann's interment in Green-Wood Cemetery.  But why would that be important?  Well, Green-Wood Cemetery is the site of the first formal battle of the Revolutionary War in 1776.  Why then would we not associate 1776 with Green-Wood Cemetery and point C instead of 1955?  Similarly, why is 42nd and Broadway, the location of the 1932 fictional battle of the Great War relevant at all?  Its a year and location contrived by Mr. Gann, not a historical reality.

The proponent of an ordered universe would have to admit the model of the GMT and Robert Gordon's 7 days are both contrived by a mortal.  The Randomites should feel greatly comforted.  But not for long.

Let's start this scrum by calling the contrived GMT and RG's 7 days simply "models." And models must be supplemented by facts or circumstances that compel one to believe their accuracy.  I have found a corroborating circumstance that causes me to believe the validity of the models.  It is the number 1.666 identified in previous essays.

Persons, other than myself, having vested far greater time in studying the life and manner WD Gann are better equipped than I to make this observation.  Nevertheless, I believe Mr. Gann adopted the name "WD Gann" with a purpose.  And the purpose would be to produce a personal "vibration" that would harmonize with his birth date.  A contrived name that would be consistent with and complement his "in-contrivable" birth date.  Let's look at that contrived name to find that number first.  According to Luo Clement (a nom de plume of Mr. Gann as I have most recently offered HERE), one can change their vibration by adopting an appropriate first name.  According to Luo Clement's system (principally Pythagorean I am given to understand), we would find Mr. Gann's adopted name theosophically reduced to the following elements:

Mr. Gann's near all important given name, "WD," is 9, as is his last name, as is the number of his entire name.  That would entirely internally harmonious.  9 is a number which demonstrates properties of complete inversion.  Flip 9 top to bottom AND flip it left to right and you have the number 6.  This inversion is seen in the "6th Manifest Prophecy" (found HERE).  Seen as two numbers before reduction the so concatenated number 99 can becomes 69 or 96 if one of the two 9s name are inverted.  Again, 69 years plus 69 days from July 4, 1932 (Battle of Washington) projecting the time of the 9/11 attacks (the 6th Prophecy).  Again, the street address of Robert Gordon and the month and day of Robert Gordon's birth, the month and day that Mr. Gann passed (June 18, 1955 when the 18 is reduce to 9 and concatenated with the 6th month)....

Okay, perhaps you buy the 99 and 69 but how does that relate to the intervention of the "All" that creates circumstance supporting 1.666 as a valid relation of time and space?  It doesn't but its an interesting numerical coincidence.  No?

Another coincidence might be the date of death.  Its not mentioned by Luo Clement's work, but it would seem to be within the influence of one's vibration.  Mr. Gann passed on June 18, 1955.  Lest we forget, 1955 is one GMT interval of 23 years beyond the date of the fictional end of the Great War in TTTTA, two intervals before the 9/11 attack (1955+46 years), and three intervals from the dedication of the Statue of Liberty (1886+69 years).  Just a taste of coincidence in the intervals of 23.

Continuing with the date of death, I've previously written my suspicion Mr. Gann knew he would die on June 18, 1955 to the day (found HERE) at an age of 77 years and 12 days.  Please, two of Mr. Gann's favorite number, 7 and 12.  He passed 12 days beyond his birth date, 16 days before the date of the birth of the nation.  He passed 4 days before the summer solstice of 1955 and 60 years and 4 days before I'd visit his grave.  But I digress on the, yet, not fully enumerated coincidences; here's the reduction of Mr. Gann's date of death:

I took some liberty in separating the century from the year within the century (19 versus 55) but its in the interest of inquiry.  Reduce the most important number, the date, from the 18th day to 9 and you have the name number as all permutations of the name.  Concatenate with the 6 representing June and we have the already noted and discussed number 69.  Reduce the 6 and 9 to 15 and we have, again, the 6 which can be inverted.  Concerning the 19 and 55 we have two 10s.  Interesting that 10 / 6 is our 1.666, the numbers from pages 400 and 401 which explain the progression of time, the progression of space and the joint progression of space time in the two "models." The ultimate reduction to 6 and 2 and then to 8 escape me in significance, if there is any.

No, 8 doesn't escape me.  Perhaps I've stated it incorrectly but the dimensions of Mr. Gann's grave stone are NOT 30" X 30" X 9"....they are 30" X 30" X 8".  I had to go back to my original notes that I took on June 21, 2015:

The depth of the upper die of the gravestone is 8" and the depth of the base is 14".

I saved the most persuasive for the last.  As I recall from Luo Clement's work, the number most important to the identification of one's vibration is the date of birth.  More specifically, the day one was born as opposed to the day or year.  Mr. Gann was born on June 6, 1878, so his number is 6.  The number '6' is in the same family as the name number above of '9' so we have a favorable harmony.    And we concatenate the numbers to, again, give you 69, the properties of which are, again, capsulized above.

But the "date number" of the birth date, like the name number, is not the entire story.  Look at the whole theosophic reduction of the three components:

I'll shut up and let you dwell on that coincidence.  Mr. Gann did not contrive his date of birth!!!

NUMBER supported by, what is argued here, as a preponderance of inexplicable coincidence.  Those who, they believe about themselves, know everything about everything will cry out "Jim, you've lost it again." To them I would say, I'm only the one who investigates an writes.  Your problem is not with me.  Your problem lies with either the man who you say contrived the above...or the Providence that did so.  To that end I'd encourage all all to re consider Socrates'"Apology." I'll give you the condensed version according to my recollection.

Accused of blasphemy, misrepresentation of himself as greater than 'the gods,' Socrates argues to his judges that he did not represent himself as such.  Rather, he visited the great minds of the realm, the artists, politicians, mathematicians.... and asked each the extent of their knowledge of Truth.  Each expressed the supremacy of their knowledge and Socrates concluded that he was more knowledgeable that any of those men because he knew he did not know.  He concluded he was the most knowledgeable of men because he was aware of his lack of knowledge where they were deluded.  Knowledge greater than man but less than God.

On losing his trial we all know Socrates was sentenced to death and sat with his students one last time before drinking his poison.

Socrates hadn't fear of death out of spiritual intervention.  His personal oracle had always warned him about any trip in which there might be any risk.  That day, before attending court, his oracle had not warned him.  This was proof to Socrates the result of the trial would be good, whatever the verdict, and not evil.

Socrates then reasoned from logic.  Perhaps death is nothingness or perhaps it is like the description of heaven.  If death is nothingness, a never ending night of sleep, then it is preferable to a night in the earthly realm.  And a never ending night would seem as a single night, absent the trials and challenges of the earthly realm.  If death is like heaven where we are free to undertake whatever we most desire, then he would be able to question all the great philosophers who went before him.  He would be able to pursue Truth with the greatest of ancient minds.  Death, in either alternative, would be preferable.  His judges, who had meant to do him harm, had actually done him good in sentencing him to death as opposed to a remaining life of wandering.

The questioned posed by the "Apology" is summarized by Socrates' parting question to his students:

And how does this relate to NUMBER and DEATH?  The physical relation of time and space by NUMBER holds promise to describe all things.  The coincidence of NUMBER between the visible physical (the time and space intervals of the GMT according to 1.666) and the intuitive uncontrived circumstance (Mr. Gann's date of birth, the reduced 666) implies a structure and/or consciousness beyond our ability to know.

Socrates did not "know." He relied on the spiritual and, independently on deduction.

Perhaps you wondered why, in the immediately preceding post, I detailed the return trip from Green-Wood Cemetery to Newport RI.  To recap, I'd planned a dinner at The Nordic Inn and to do so I had to arrive in Newport not later than about 3pm to arrive at their final seating before 6pm.  I arrived at 4:20pm EDST and it is well engrained in my memory as I sat in the parking garage, looked at the dash clock and made the calculation that there wasn't any hope we'd make the 6pm seating at the Nordic...particularly on Father's Day weekend.

It was two days ago I made a further perceived connection.  I'd earlier made the connection that I had been standing at Mr. Gann's grave at noon of the summer solstice, 60 summer solstices and 3 days after Mr. Gann's death.  The connection I made is that my arrival "home" at Newport RI at 4:20pm was, when converted from daylight savings time, was the same moment that Mr. Gann passed, 3:20pm, separated by 60 years and 3 days.

I really don't consider that a biggee.  But "things" add up.  I thought it notable.

Consider this one.  We find the 1950 "The Magic Word" was reissued as a second edition by Renato P. Alghini in October 1979 and a copy might be viewed at scribed.com.  I expect Mr. Alghini considered "The Magic Word" worthy of reprinting where it may not have been a best seller.  A little more context.  I understand (not being a WD Gann historian, only an avid fan of "The Tunnel Thru the Air) Mr. Alghini was an associate or employed by Mr. Gann for 7 years.  He must have picked up a little something.  I read it was Mr. Alghini who observed that Mr. Gann frequently took his Square of 9 calculator on visits to the floor at the markets.

Here's the teaser.  As mentioned, Mr. Alghini added to TMW a preface to the second edition in which he poses the question in the last paragraph:

"No other conclusion makes sense." Would a person, knowing of a secret of invaluable worth, admit his knowledge during his lifetime?  But that's the teaser.

Where's the "meat" you say?  Would Mr. Alghini NOT know the span of Mr. Gann's life?  I don't think so.  Yet we find added to the second edition of TMW the following portrait (on the left):

Wow, Mr. Alghini, inexplicably, was a year off in the year of passing and 9 years off on the date of birth.  He was 0 for 2 in his tribute to a man he obviously admired if not, with whom he conspired.  And might we guess was his neighbor in Miami in later years of their lives (I don't know either way)?  

But that's not the "meat." Anyone who reads this blog knows my many recounts of Mr. Gann's planting, in my opinion, of the wondrous number '69.' We know that Mr. Gann lived 77 years and 12 days.  Wonderful numbers, 77 which is also 7X11, and 12.  7 and 12 are numbers Mr. Gann liked a lot. 12 can be reduced to 3, also a respected number.  Robert Gordon's birth date, his office street number on Wall Street; 69.  69, which is composed of the wonderful number 6 which might be inverted (flipping top to bottom and left to right) to produce its twice mirror image, 9?  69, the number of years and days between TTTTA's Battle of Washington and the World Trade Center attack according to the "6th Manifest Prophecy." But where is 69 on Mr. Gann's stone? 

Mr. Alghini, I believe quite purposefully, misprinted Mr. Gann's life span to create a duration of 69 years.  I expect that's the reason....but that's me.

I no longer believe in coincidence.

A final notation as opposed to anecdote.  We are in the 168th and final year of the "WD Gann Map of Time," a map created from the number of lines of "The Tunnel Thru the Air." This 168th year spans from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016 and is a 1/15th component of the Biblical "Great Week" of 2520 years (either lunar or solar).  According to the clues in TTTTA I am persuaded to believe we are in the last year of the 168th year of a MOT cycle.  According to my research, it seems we may be in the 2520th year of a Great Week, but I have far less confidence in this last observation.  

Historical events repeat according to the Great Week as well as at the smaller cycles, 168 years being one such component.  We would therefore expect 2016 to mirror the year 1848 and, perhaps, the events of a Great Week ago.

1848 was a year of revolution in Europe giving rise to nations; it was a year of new national identities, new freedoms and has been characterized as the "Spring of Nations." In the United States, 1848 saw the end to the Mexican American War in which a great southwest portion of the US was taken from Mexico.  1848 also saw the emergence of American warriors who would play roles in the Civil War within two decades thereafter; Grant, Lee, Jefferson Davies, Sherman (totally out of recollection).  1848 saw the divisions of "black and grey" between those who believed the Mexican American War was an unjust exercise in expansion and those who considered it destiny...and the issue of whether new territories should adopt slavery.  Many observe 1848 sewed the seeds of the Civil War....national revolution.

A Great Week ago (based on a lunar interpretation of the Great Week previously posted), the Jews were expelled from their Judah...."The Exile." 

Do we now hear echoes of 1848?  Where the European Union has emerged from the Spring of Nations been reversed in the face of Islamic immigration to the extent nations are building walls and citizens are arming themselves?  Is the EU Balkanizing (neither positive or negative connotations intended) as the opposite now where in nations were emerging in 1848?  Will the Jews be exiled from Old Jerusalem or will the opposite occur, or will nothing happen?  In the US, has the hispanic immigration largely taken back the southwest?  Is the growing divides between wealth distribution, between race, between socialism and freedom, sewing the seeds of revolution...the opposite of nation building in 1848?

And yesterday I hear a leading presidential candidate espouse, no doubt not intended to be taken literally, "political revolution." Are the seeds of something bigger being sewed, however unintentionally, in this year of 2016?

My son-in-law graduated from Naval War College in Newport RI this last weekend. Several weeks ago 'the kids' (my daughter and son-in-law, Mike and Melissa, "M&M") offered to take me to the Navy vs SMU game and continue on to Newport for the Tuesday graduation.  I couldn't pass up the chance to see Keenan Reynolds beat the all time rushing touchdown record of Monte Ball or Mike's graduation .  Believe it or not, this is important background on how I made my 3rd trip to visit Mr. Gann's grave.

Leaving VA Beach early Saturday morning to make tailgating by noon, we were about an hour into the trip when it occurred to me we'd be traveling within a half hour of Green-Wood Cemetery the next day.  In addition, the graduation would be Tuesday leaving Sunday and Monday as down time.  So I asked Mike 'What is our itinerary for Sunday?' And he said, we're taking you to Green-Wood Cemetery and continuing on to Newport.' They'd known I was planning and had previously aborted a 3rd trip to Mr. Gann's grave.

This was very meaningful to me.  My wife tolerates and, perhaps, even enjoys my adventures in attempting to understanding WD Gann's "The Tunnel Thru the Air." But when I try to explain to the kids what I've got think they think is bizarre, well, I worry they they think....  It was very important to me that, whatever my delusion, the pursuit of the riddles of TTTTA important in my life and they'd support it.  

Mr. Gann understood and explained that those who are toughest on your beliefs are your family and your country...those closest to you.  The young Robert Gordon, a proxy I'd suggest for Mr. Gann's early life's story (at least), is criticized by his brother and, to some extent, his father for his odd intellectual behavior and/or lack of manly pursuits (farm work, war...).  It comes to the point that Mr. Gann gives us Mark 6:4 on page 69:

I'm not a prophet.  I don't think Mr. Gann considered himself one (though I don't know).  I simply read, try to make correlations between observations and offer suggested conclusions.  Yet, I know how crazy it seems to anyone not having read WD Gann materials and, most prominently, TTTTA and "The Magic Word." It was comforting to me that my family felt they'd entertain my 'eccentricity' by this surprise visit.  As you will see, there was a reward for the kids for this unspeakable kindness.

So, we set out Saturday morning and, not an hour into the trip, I began unloading on M&M many of the items I had discovered that might become noteworthy when we visited Green-Wood Cemetery.....a good 3 plus hours of background information.  On the number 69, the 6th Prophecy of 9/11, Mr. Gann's prediction of his ultimate life span of 77 years, the mysteries of the number 53 which was Sadie Gann's life span, the dimensions Mr. Gann's gravestone (30"X30"X8") and its derivatives, the WD Gann Memorial Triangle (GMT), the Great Week of 2520 years, the 1/15th subdivision of 168 and the further subdivision of 84 that comports with the discussion of prophecy on page 84 of TTTTA, Mr. Gann's assertion that all life and time and all things are circular.....360 degrees....  I'm sure it was a long 3 hours of TTTTA lecture.  I felt sorry for them.

We were treated to moments of incredible serendipity during the trip.  Just a few follow.

Part of my impromptu lecture to M&M had been Mr. Gann's "all life and time is circular." The first thing before tailgating was for Mike to check us in.  He delivered me to my room and it was:

It was room 360 of the Annapolis Marriott Courtyard.  360 degrees in the circle.  Perhaps the circle of life?  I didn't make the reservations or check us in.  It was on Mike's Marriott Rewards tab.  He saw it too.  Not a biggee, but....

To declare my Naval Academy partisanship, Mike loaned me his Naval Academy 'sprint team' jersey (#7) and, of course, he wore his jersey (#12) to honor the great Academy quarterback, Roger Staubach.  I did not ask that we wear those jerseys.  It happened.  Seven, one seventh the time distance to Jubilee.  Twelve, one twelfth the square of 12 or one of the twelve tribes.  If you study WDG, you know the numbers 12 and 7:

And, you know, the point of prophecy explained on page 84 of TTTTA; that we should study the Bible "...to understand the signs, and discern the future, and profit by it." And what is 12 X 7....it is the number 84 or half the 168 interval of the cycle I have identified by the number of lines in TTTTA and which I call the "WD Gann Map of time." [Might I add, Naval Academy had #12 Roger Staubach.  Well, my alma mater had #7 Michael Vick and #5 Tyrod Taylor (both still in the NFL).  When you add Vick and Taylor you get 7+5=12 or Roger Staubach #12.  And when you add #12 Stauback and Vick, you get #19 Keenan Reynolds.  And the circle of math, err football, never ends.]

As aforementioned, Navy's senior quarterback, Keenan Reynolds #12, was tied with Monte Ball for the most rushing touchdowns in NCAA Division 1 football at 77 career rushing touchdowns.  On the first possession, I somehow snapped this photo while sitting down and holding my camera up in the air as Keenan rushes for the record breaking touchdown:

What was the final score of the game?  It was 55-14, Navy scoring one of its largest margins.  Would that be 55+14= yes it is.  It is a total score of 69 points.  

But these are treats that I appreciated, likely far moreso than might M&M or you, the reader.   I'll skip the many other notations I made at the November 14 game.  There were many.  But I'll skip to the next day, Sunday, November 15, 2015 when we arrived at Green-Wood Cemetery at just after noon.  And I will skip treatment of the objectives of my intended 3rd trip to Mr. Gann's grave in another post.  Rather, I want to describe two very personal gifts given M&M and myself.

Melissa and I were running around the 12 stones I have previously identified and consider to constitute "The Land of Beginning Again" taking pictures, measurements, etc.  Mike was standing two stones behind Mr. Gann's stone reading Fantasy Football on his phone, looking down and he saw on the stone in front of him two dates; December 24 and December 30.  Can you see them below?

December 24 is Mike's birthday and that of the husband on that stone. December 30 is Melissa's birthday and that of the wife on that stone.  [As instruction to M&M, the stone indicates the family's daughter was born on June 14 and I'm currently a grandfather in waiting.]   Of the 600,000 or so interments at Green-Wood Cemetery, I'm sure we might find many birth dates of December 24 and many of December 30.  But both on a single stone?  And the exact stone backing up to the back of Mr. Gann's?  And what's the chance that, in our 30 minute visit we'd find a stone with both dates, on a single stone and while NOT looking for it?  Probability; one divided by the number of stars in the sky in my opinion.

And a personal gift for me.  One of my objectives in visiting Mr. Gann's grave a third time was to investigate the possibility of identifying a 13th stone (recall the 12 stones of the WD Gann gravestone geometry).  If there is a 13th stone, then it is the one next to the "Great Tree" that obscures the view of Lower Manhattan from WDG's grave.  So I concentrated much of my time on that stone.  If you look at that picture above, the "Great Tree" is in the background just above Melissa's left wrist or about 30 or so yards down the hill behind her.  The 13th stone is about 3 feet to the right of that tree.

After Mike showed me the above stone, I went back to the hypothetical 13th stone with a heightened awareness.  And this is what I saw from the rear of the stone:

Mae Alker LeGrand "DIED Sept 18." On September 18, 2007 my wife and I tragically lost our 25-year old son James.  To say a parent should not have to bury a child does not remotely touch on the pain that a parent feels.  There came a stunning moment of reflection when I called my daughter down to that stone to consider what I was seeing.  As my thoughts become clearer some 3 days later, I find comfort, not sadness.  

What is the probability that, on top of finding the dates December 30 and 24 on the same stone, within minutes I find the meaningful date September 18?  

          ***WD Gann was born on June 6, 1878 which can be reduced to 6 6 6***

          ***My son passed September 18,  2007 which can be reduced to 9 9 9 ***

What's the probability?  A story of improbability comes to mine. Sir Arthur Eddington's discussion of the army of monkeys typing the exact text of every book in the Library of Congress.  Not in an infinity of years could an exact replication of the Library of Congress be so produced.  At least as far as that story goes, not according to Albert Einstein's celebrated chronicler and a great physicist in his own right.

Let me boil this down to my personal testimony.  All things are circular.  Life has an apparent beginning and end.  What I experienced on November 14 and 15, transforms my belief in what lies beyond death from a state of 'uncomfortable comfort' with the afterlife to complete personal satisfaction.  As there is a law of the conservation of matter and energy which dictates that their sum never changes, so, I'd propose as have many others, there is a law of conservation of Spirit.  The circle never ends.  

Mr. Gann gives us "The Garden of Love" and "The Land of Beginning Again" in pages 36-40 of TTTTA.  The 12 gravestones (and perhaps the 13th) of Green-Wood Cemetery as I have previously suggested, represent that place of which Mr. Gann was writing....in my opinion.  I highly recommend an informed reading of those pages and particularly the following prose:

Did the MOT warn of the potential for a terrorist attack?  Here's what the MOT looks like on November 13, 2015:

November 13, 2015 appears on the 110th line counting from the title on the book cover and 72 lines from the line preceding the word "Foreword" in that section (see 110 and 72 highlighted in red).

I find it notable that the date of the attacks fall on the same line as the date of the Foreword to "The Tunnel Thru the Air." As well, the cumulative line number of 110 is that same number that, prospectively, connects the year of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake to that same occurrence of same level in 2016 (the year 2016 according the MOT would be July 2015 to June 2016).  And finally, that same line is the 72nd line of the Foreword or 1/5th the degrees of the circle (the "Pentagonal" or 72 degree element of the circle).

Very notable is the difference in years.  2015 minus 1849 is the number 166.

The comparable historic date would be about late January 1849.  On January 27 and 28, Karl Marx was in Paris France and reporting on the success/failure of 'the revolution' in that country and the counter reaction.  France was in some state of turmoil then and for the previous several months including, apparently, violent confrontation.  Marx' January 28, 1849 essay "The Situation in Paris" can be found on page 281 of this pdf LINK.  

I'm not sure any of the above would have warranted my picking out November 13 or 14, 2015 as being a date to expect a violent attack.  And, well, it didn't.  Certainly, it can't be said the MOT was effective in predicting this exact attack.  It is true that Paris was in turmoil in 1849 and in 2015.

The May 9, 1927 date would seem to be noteworthy as it might point to the same date in 2016.  If something does happen on May 9, 2016, well, WDG could say "I told you so...." but I just don't see drawing that bold conclusion despite the tease.

As a side, May 9 is an interesting date.  A record of publication would show that 2 copies of Luo Clement's "The Ancient Science of numbers" were filed on May 8, 1908 or 19 years and 1 day earlier than the Foreword date of TTTTA.  And, given Mr. Gann's fixation on Lindberg's transatlantic flight on May 21, 1927, its interesting the the failed flight of Charles Nungesser and Francois Coli is associated with the date of the Foreword.  The French captains left Paris on May 8, 1927 and were expected to arrive in New York on May 9, 1927.  They did not.

Simply trying to explore the MOT and I want to be able to recall my efforts.
